Question 1 Should Monk a) stick with Amat? b) go three at the back? c) play Raheem Hanley? Question 2 Will Monk a) stick with Amat? b) go three at the back? c) play Raheem Hanley? Question 3 How many posts in will it take to a) turn this in to a Monk v Laudrup post? b) someone to be told to they are a Monk hater? c) someone to be told they must be a Cardiff supporter if they disagree with something anything said by the self appointed gods of Swansea City firms?
Quite few do - which is why some of us are targets for their recruitment drive Haven't you noticed how many times some posters have accused Swans fans of supporting Cardiff or even suggested we go watch Cardiff just as the capital team are haemorrhaging fans and closing parts of their ground? The truth is out by there:-
"Opinions",well that's a dirty word with some who frequent this place. It's acquiescence they are after, and only like minded people are encouraged to contribute. The party liners can then debate, debate and debate some more, coming up with the same result, time after time, after time. Such behaviour merely serves to fuel their insanity, and this Forum is the poorer as a result.
The wibble bleats more material for study at the school of stand-up comedy Still no opinion of your own then wibble ?

This is not a wum but truthfully how many games ( including those who don't go ) can you honestly say you enjoyed ?
Personally, I would like to see us try 3 at the back. Apart from potentially losing a place or two in the PL (& the attendant prize money) what have we got to lose? Last Saturday was hugely disappointing - we are safe, Newcastle are on a poor run, so why not experiment with a back three of Amat, Fernandez and Williams?
Sorry but I would prefer us to persevere with Rangel, and put Dyer as a wing back on the left side with Monty, and with Routledge leading the line and Emnes on the right wing, this to me would shore up our vulnerabilities and give us some balance back in the team!............ We tried 3 at the back with Rodgers at the end of one season at the Liberty, and Wolves had a field day by putting 4 past us, it was embarrassing, and we only just managed to save face by drawing the game 4-4, and this was against a relegated and very poor Wolves??
Phil - I don't actually disagree with your proposal. I just think that with "nothing to lose" it may be worth experimenting with a Plan C
Fair comment, but it's a great opportunity to bag another 3 points, I just feel that with our injuries, we need to field the strongest team and formation which would be 4-3-2-1, Rangel has already stated he doesn't like Monks 4-4-2 Diamond approach as it exposes him far too much at this stage of his career, so it's why I favour Dyer at LWB, dyer can be pretty good at the old defensive duties, and will shore up our back line, Amat for me is CB only, and judging by Rangel's comment on the BBC today, he looks certain to start at RB..............
