    Steven Gerrard
    Glen Johnson
    Mario Balotelli
    Rickie Lambert
    Kolo Toure
    Dejan Lovren
    Fabio Borini
    Joe Allen
    Jose Enrique

Must have no further dealings with the first team. They are all on their way so really offer us nothing going into next season.

These remaining games should be used to blood some youngsters so they wont be shell-shocked if called upon next term.

Give Yesil a chance upfront , get Ibe back in the team , put Can in CM where he should be.

Use these games to work on a tactical formation and then add some players in the Summer who fit the tactics.

    Not Falcao and Delph <doh>

Good shout but Rodgers is not the man to do this. His luck has finally run out. He has been found not to be good enough for the CL, got stuck at the semis and in the premiership when faced against a good team, he had no answer.

I'd have preferred to see Jose this season over his replacement<whistle>

Was at the game and was quite low down so I could be mistaken, but I thought Mario did as much as he could with the limited service he received, and he took his goal very well.

And if you want to put Allen in that list, then you can certainly put Henderson there as well. Hard to think of another players who bottles big matches as much as he does.

Im basing the list on Rodgers being given one last chance by FSG.

There are players not on the list id add personally but im hypothesising.

FSG saying keep Markovic, Moreno as they are young and may have future profit in them.

Likewise Hendo as he is all but the new clib captain <doh> (whoever had that brainfart needs sectioning)

Couldn't agree more and with the OP, why play all these players who are clearly not good enough I would also like to see if the younger lads can take the opportunity.

Henderson being captain is the least of our concerns at the moment. Our squad is so ****e that hendo ranks as one of our top 5 players when you really think about it

Hate to admit it, but Johnson has been one of the better players on the pitch in his last two outings.

If fact, I'd play that whole team from here on out, as there is now nothing left to play for, and I'd prefer Sterling never to get another game.

Also now is the time to give a legend like Stevie a good send off, and give him all the remaining matches. Let us just freewheel home and get Flanno some game time and try and get Sturridge fit again and blood some kids.

Have that pile of tosh played many games......if they have then Rodgers deserves a medal for what he has done this season<ok>

Joe Allen is one of our better midfielders. Certainly worthy of a place in the squad.

Agree that should now start building towards next year. No point playing players that won't be here next year (gerrard being the exception). Give young guys a chance, although do need to make sure we're in the Europa next year so we can use it properly and offer European football to potential signings.

Agree - that's why I would not play Gerrard, Johnson, Enrique Lambert etc. There is no point.

The only game Gerrard should start is the last home game of the season.

  13. Not playing some of them won't help us sell them, never mind their values.

Agree - not saying he was amazing but he certainly tried to make things happen. Which is ironic given he has a rep for being lazy. So fair play to him, and he should have had a goal.

Yes he's just looking for particular passes and at a time suiting him and we never give it

He hasn't another game to give frankly

  17. Yeah, being caught offside 784 times because you were too slow getting back in position really does wonders for that lazy tag <laugh>

now not all of those offsides were being lazy... half of them were him making rus the ball was slow in coming to him on.

Sterling was as lazy getting back IMO he got cuaght many times.

I hate balotelli but lets not just slam him for nothing... may as well slam him for the stuff he does do.. or doesn't do.

I would also like to mention Can and how well he handled Benteke - he wasn't getting any joy down Can's side. Only started looking effective when he moved centrally to attack Skrtel.
