I was going to mention a different one, but your choice surpasses mine by miles. This is tops, or bottoms, for me.

Of others, I'm not keen on Bale's heart either. Far too contrived. I do like Kenwyne Jones' athletic somersaults and all the more when they signalled that he'd scored a goal for Saints. By comparison, Robbie Keane's poor forward rolls and gun fire were a joke. I wonder if he knew he looked a plonker..? Probably not.

Yeah, I don't see how you can tell they are pointing in the sky for religious reasons.

What annoys me, is why nobody plays air guitar after scoring. That has to be the single most obvious celebration in the world. We've even had air-DJ's for ****s sake (Emile Heskey). Come on footballers, let's rock!!

Most people who point to the Sky usually do it because someone important to them has died.

Actually my favourite (I know this thread is what is meant to annoy me), was Rooney's boxing one. Don't know why, but it really made me laugh. I normally think he is a bit of a twat, but when he did that he went up in my estimation.

Pure genius. Never try to be funny again, Hot Bovril. You'll struggle to surpass this. I retire very bloody jealous.

I usually agree with Fran on matters like these and today is no exception. It's a personal moment for them, they are remembering their Mum or some other loved one, who are we to criticise them for that.

Yes, Andy Murray does it after a win, maybe he is remembering the people who died in the Dunblane tragedy which happened at the school he was attending at the time.
