Look, we're this close to winning the title. Its about points for us. You lot are going nuts over 1 game. **** what you all think. We got the points.
After SAF retired, I thought we could have done with Jose as manager. But the reality is that we would have been left ultimately unsatisfied with his winning (titles, points) but boring soulless unexciting football.
and THAT is what trying to have an intelligent debate with an idiot looks like. Congratulations on your win mate and on getting those points
For someone who claims not to care what Utd fans think, you sure seem to have spent a **** load of time on the Utd board today demonstrating otherwise. Methinks the lady doth protest too much.
And you are all still whining two days after the event. I'll leave you all to get over it. So long ladies.
Trying to defend the indefensible. Why would any top rank manager park the bus against a weakened side, letting it dominate them at home? They should have been able as champions elect play proper football. Most good teams can play exciting as well as winning football
I think that's obvious from the reaction of the United fans to the turgid style of football that took United on a much needed unbeaten run mid season. Yes the fans were pleased that United were climbing the table but there was a lot of criticism about the dreary but effective style of football. The media latched onto it as well as they expect United to play entertaining as well as winning football. Conversely Chelsea are expected to win ugly and when they do it's considered the Chelsea way. Arsenal were the same under George Graham.
To be fair Chelsea did it under Ancelotti but they sacked him when he was in a good position to move the club in a different direction.
cxxx If you were so good, why did you have to resort to desperate diving and cheating by Herrera to win a pen, and De Gea to stop attacks?
Couldn`t do much more really with the players we had. If Rooney had been played as a striker we may have scored at least one of the chances we had but other than that we could really do no more than keep knocking for 90 mins.
Bottom line is the league table doesn't lie. 11 points ahead of you with a game in hand. I'll leave it there.
That's the point. The title was at your mercy. Then why oh why play so defensive and be completely dominated and outplayed by a seriously weakened United? Who was hardly a threat for the title? Only Chelsea fans seem to accept Jose 's sterile football.
