Black men age 15 to 19 are also amongst the most likely to be involved in gang related violence and other gun related offences. Now I am quite happy to discuss how racism is part of the reason why black males in that age group end up in those violent lifestyles, however, what I will not do is jump to the conclusion that every officer who pulled the trigger in those cases is a violent racist.

 

I know my subject lad, I am not off on one, the reason that they are the stats is because the Federal governnment does not collect all the stats on police murders, so those are the only stats I can find, you can confirm that too, they don't


And while the stats may be incomplete. The disparity between the numbers is massive, 31.7 per million black people killed, 1.4 white people per million killed by police. That's a pretty huge differnce

Would it be reasonable to suggest that the missing stats would cover the disparity of 30 whites per million?

John Crawford was gunned down in wallmart because a racist called the cops and and lied saying he was threatening people with a gun, I listened to the call, he had a BB gun he picked up from the shelf in wall mart, and that state is open carry anyway. John was in his late 20s, the cops showed up and executed him on site while he was talking to his GF on the phone in the store. No "drop the gun" no "police" nothing just boom dead, for nothing, no cop charged with his murder

I will say this, I have to, I am asuming the US is the most racist country on earth. That is purely an opinion. It dosn't mean Americans are racist, it mans there is a LOT of racism in America, they are two entirely different statements with two entirely different meanings.

 

Well possibly yes, most people on the force for a decent length of time will have some complaints for excessive force, most people they arrest don't actually want to be arrested you know. Does he have any complaints from white people for similar?

You need to read what terrificToure is writing. He's not saying your stats don't support racism. He is saying you are now being the racist. By saying this cop who shot a black guy and automatically calling him a racist, you are jumping to the conclusion that he is a racist. He may have just been a cop who lost his ****, he may have been a guy who was having a seriously bad day, he may have been a psychopath. Just cause the situation LOOKED like a racist act and that the US police force may have lots of racism in it, does not mean that everytime a white cop shoots an innocent black man a racist. For all you know he could have killed 7 innocent white males before that (chances not) but by you jumping straight into the, he shot a innocent black guy he must be racist makes you the racist against the white cop

 

Generalisation I offered fact, you are speculating from your own reasoning, I am saying that he has burst into someone's home, a black man and tased him for no reason. Then he beat up anothe rblack man, then he gunned down an elderly black man with 8 bullets in the back while he was "trotting away from him"

I will condede that Slager could just be an animal who just happened to abuse and murder black people, that is possible but, given the stats on the police and justice system it is also entiely possible ne thought he could get away with shooting a black man, so, you or I could be right but the stats learn towards my argument, but do not prove it.

I can quite easily disagree with it and I do, as it's nowhere near reality imo.

The US has some areas that are undoubtedly racist, we're talking about a country that was still institutionally racist until the 60's, so that's hardly a shock like.

However, in the grand scheme of things, there's far more racist nations on the planet than the US. The most racist by general consensus is in fact India, due to their view of the black man still being an inferior to them.
