0-3 Home loss - However Siem De Jong and Aarons might be back, however the I expect the venom of negativity throughout the club to continue. I also bare in mind that its Gary Monk V John Carver and i know who i think is more tactically astute!

Swansea have a half decent recent record against us at our place to be fair.

I am sorry to say that I didn't watch anything of the Spurs game. I checked the feed twice, chuckled to see Spurs call a third, then basically tried to forget about it.

I will be doing something interesting this weekend as well, something that will not involve seeing this shower get beat. I no longer care if the club goes down, because the fans on this board, the majority of the ST holders, won't really be affected. If we go down, I simply see it as a good way for Ashley to not get his precious advertising.

I couldn't care a less if we go down. The trouble is, if we do, we won't come back up for a while.

14-1 Swansea for 2-0 looks very tempting!!!!! £10 layoff for £140..
2-0 Swansea, £10 for £140. Seems an easy cash win. We are shiiite, utterly devoid of anybody that gives a feck! I really hope we go down. I dont care anymore. I`ll take any scenario that makes that fat wenker feck off and leave us alone!!!!!!

Well since the TV money seems to be the reason why we are actually making a profit, relegation to the Championship will mean no more TV money for the Fat Stalin.

I wouldnt be surprised after some of the pundits comments on Sunday, if Sky decided they no longer want to televise our games, now that would be great, you would soon see Cashley putting in some effort

That's an interestingly priced market. 6/5 against and with no Swansea injuries listed. Another lay in the offing, I would say.

You sound like you really know what you are talking about so tell me what do I do. I think you are saying that the price of 6/5 for Newcastle winning is a poor one so you would effectively act as the bookie in this case. Is that right and if so how do you do that? Are you using specialist betting sites or can you do this on normal sites?
Also don't you feel really dirty making money out of betting against the club you love? You should at least be boycotting betting or laying on Newcastle in support of the fans. Alternatively if you are that good then can we all donate towards next weeks stake and you use the winnings to buy the club. I think if you can raise about UKP450million that should be plenty. Just lets us know what size stake you need. Apparently Boro Gully (aka Great Escape) is loaded, he has is own box.

1-1, a last minute equalising own goal off Williams substantial arse. Carver celebrates to such an extent he literally explodes, sending bloody and ****ty pieces of himself over a wide area.

Jakarta. I only ever use Betfair. Most of my other bookmaking accounts with the usual suspects have been closed down or limited to next to nothing over the years. Mind you, that's not hard to do. Look as if one knows what one is doing and then the shutters come down. The nickname Bet £3.65 isn't for nothing.

I have a compatriot who has just been limited by one of the main internet bookies. His account hasn't been closed but his maximum stake permitted is now zero. Which effectively amounts to the same thing.

As I say, I only use Betfair. If the price is 6/5 with the bookmaker then I expect it will be around 2.3 to lay Newcastle.

Do I feel dirty? No. Do you feel guilty that you have insured your house? If not, then perhaps you should for betting around £100 a year at odds of about 2000/1 that your house will burn down. Have you insured your wife? If so, then are you feeling guilty that you are backing her to be killed at odds of about the same?

Punting and emotion should never mix. If you feel emotion over the money won or money lost then don't do it, you're not going to be cut out to be in this game. To me it's a business and the first thing I tell anyone who steps down this road is that the first thing to learn is to disassociate oneself from the money and then just see things in terms of percentages and markets. If you have an edge then take it, if you don't then leave it alone.

I have found an edge in the Newcastle markets and I am taking advantage. It would be foolish not to. I have shared my Newcastle trading strategy here with you all because (a) you're a half decent bunch and (b) contrary to what the man in the street may think sharing my method won't affect the market. The size of my stake compared to the size of the market is insignificant.

As for boycotting the market against Swansea. Explain to me how if I didn't enter that trade I would be supporting the fans. In the Betfair market there will be about one and a half million pounds matched in that market. How would my not entering a position risking £200 help anyone? Anyway, the football trading is only a small portion of my punting portfolio but, as I have said, it would be mad not to do it now that an edge has been established.

On Friday, for example, I bought shares in Debenhams with view for a medium to long term trade. I could have chosen not to. If I didn't how would that have helped anyone who shops there?

    Cheers.

I had better not mention the 25% I made last summer with Sports Direct. But it makes no difference to the regime; once the shares are out in the market it makes no odds who holds them and, contrary to the hysteria of the popular press, it doesn't support the regime in any way.

Anyway, Debs flashed a buy signal for me last week and they've been added to the portfolio. And, no I have no SD shares at the moment and I haven't stepped foot into any of his stores.

I often bet against the toon.
My theory is simple, as long as we don't draw I win.
The big cash for me goes on the derby games.
Always end up a ton or more up on derby day which helps pay for me drink.

You boys are in freefall and it looks like our players are already on the beach. Shall we call it off and take a point each? It'll save everyone a lot of hassle :emoticon-0150-hands
