If you ask yourself with the players we have now, Rodgers in the transfer market, will we be any better this time next season? Not a chance, if anything we will be worse. I can't see how Rodgers can stay.

I'm afraid that I agree with most on here that any of the big names being touted will not want to come to Liverpool. However, with FFP looming, the new windfall that the premier league have negotiated PLUS pending strikes in Spain at the Duopoly of Real Madrid and Barca meaning that they may have to put more of their TV money into the Spanish pot for other teams means that for the next few years at least, English teams are the teams that will have cash to spend. Arsenal, Utd, Chelsea are all sorted for bosses. Leaves us and City for potential suitors. You never know.

That said, the most realistic proven name that we can expect here would probably be Rafa.

I don't know... what i do know is there is only one job in germany and thats Bayern. If guardiola fails to win CL AGAIN. klopp might be lined up there... thus he goes to city then we sack rodgers and get who?

in italy money to spend os only half the picture. juve are once again kings having dodgily reclaimed thier crown.... they can pay what they like tax free.

PSG job is easy in france... same story. good seeding in CL easy to manage

The big jobs round europe could be up for grabs this summer. Both real and barca..... and bayern, city are not big but money talks... theres a huge amount of change going to happen.

I'd be watching and feeling out who wants what. mr ajax de boer will still be floating around... his antics have cocked up the easiest league of all so would you have him?

    My take on it is:

Zidane is being 'groomed' for the Real role.

    Ancelotti to City

    Enrique to stay at Barca

Not sure if there any other big jobs going around - an outside bet would be Klopp to Arsenal, with Wenger moving into a DoF role.

i do think zidane will take over at real. I am not sure about enrique... he is not popular with the main man is he?

Anchelotti to city is the one thing that makes some sense as guardiola is not going to leave bayern i think.

therefore it kind of comes back to wheres open

Real will be, barca i think will be... will PSG? will bayern? will city? I think so, will utd, no, will cheslea, no.... so really the question is whats klopp got lined up cos i feel he's not resigned with no place to go.

I think it could be italy.

  13. He's said he doesn't want to manage a money no object club. He wants to have another "project"

So a convenient twist to single out Brod and avoid Woy lol

He's the only manager (bar Woy) that's failed to win a trophy as Liverpool manager in last fifty years. Adding the three years merely take Woy it the equation.

true that greez, more ****ty sensationalist "journalism" <ok> They did add the 3 year thing to narrow it down to just Brod.

only caretaker while souness was doing his triple bypass. he brought them to semi final and then souness came back for the rest.

its like saying oh thompson didn't win anything in 2001 when same happened to houllier.

He is tbf, I think I would have picked better players for us, I never would have touched Lovren simply because I'd have taken one look at his career and seen that he's had one good season in the whole lot of it, by the age of 26 like <doh>

I'll be honest, I wasn't even aware of Lovren's existence before we signed him.

I lost confidence in his signings before this season signing the likes of Aspas, that is the worst signing I have seen in an LFC shirt

    EVER!

  20. Seems MITO has answered for me. We're talking appointed managers, not temporary caretakers.
