Changing tactics and formations 4 times in a game is ridiculous. Villa over ran you in midfield with their superior energy and you never had control of the game as a result. He'd resorted to long ball tactics by the end, and was bypassing the midfield all together.
He should never have got any playing time from the minute he refused to sign a new contract, he won't be here next season and whenever he has got a game this season he hasn't been arsed. Borini on the other hand could have moved but said he wanted another chance to prove himself, he had the perfect opportunity yesterday, if nothing else he'd have ran the Villa defence ragged as opposed to bringing Balotelli on which slowed us down when we needed to up the tempo.
It's another high pressure game in which we were expected to win, but lost. Can't think of any other high pressure games that we've won other than Man City.
