Good Morning Everyone, Is this the begining of the end for Redfearn after seing another three points thrown away at the weekend. First point. Was it a good penalty? Should Sharp be taking the penalties? Why do we give away so many penalties? Why do we give so many leads away? With respect to Chalton, if you look at their team, (and this comment was backed up by Eddie Gray) there was nobody in the team that Leeds had to fear. Still we came away with nothing. Has the off field antics has an impact on the players? Shouldn't it be up to the Manager to make sure this does not happen? Let's turn to something Morison said in a statement “It’s sad watching him out there on his own, putting out balls and cones. I’ve never known a manager have to do that" Surely, that's quite degrading, even for a Leeds Utd Manager. Let's finish with some wise words from Eddie Gray. "Got to accept the 6 injuries - unless something else comes out - and something comes out every week at the football club." Eddie Gray on what's left for us this season: "I think this season had gone for us a few weeks ago." Song of the day to cheer us up anyone?
Morning elland and all I won't say much for fear of it becoming a rant but will pick up on the point Eddie Gray made about Carlton having no one to fear. Works both ways. We have no player any team need fear either. As for sharp taking a penalty. How can that be right. He has probably five hours to his name all season in a Leeds shirt so shouldn't be designated penalty taker. Anyway. Up and at em for another week
Morning all. Redfearn is out of his depth that is clear, but he is just a coach and it sounds a lonely coach with far too much to do. Degrading yes, undermined yes, is it any wonder he has a few favourites.
If Redfearn had afucking spine he wouldn't be in this "lonely" position. Should have stood up to Cellino and told him to let him run the show or find someone else. The worst that would have happened, his contract as youth team coach would have been paid in full. Instead he part engineered a situation that meant he got offered the main job and was prepared to swallow any **** Cellino threw. Gutless Cnut gets the respect he deserves. As for Cellino...........
Morning all. Every coach has favourites. The good ones don't show it, though. The bad ones fail as they don't handle the falout from their obvious bias.
The one good thing about Sharp taking the penalty is that it surely means that he won't get another chance. Surely? Then again ..... this is Leeds.
Who out of our squad would get into the Norwich, boro, watford, Bournemouth teams. You could probably take that as far as who would get into any top ten team. Hell there are players at Rotherham would start every game for us. That says everything.
Once he got the top job it was never happening. Will be in charge at oakwell next year. I would give him a lift if it helps.
I haven't said Redfearn is a good coach, not outside the academy role I couldn't agree more that he needs replacing, should never have been appointed in the first place, academy role should never have been jeopardised but when he is replaced it will be more the same, cheap coach, switching back to the Diamond, loan players playing for Cellino and...... Need I go on
Everybody wanted to give Redfearn a go. I reckon he'd be a great number 2 to an experienced and cut throat Manager
Everyone? Once he got the job some were ideologically bound to support him. Don't get confused into thinking we were putting the flags out. We wanted and still want a proper coach who can speak to Cellino as an equal, and be given autonomy on transfers, tactics and team selection.
I didn't want to give him a go, I said recipe for disaster and no way will he ever go back into the academy. I agree he should have been a number two and learned a few things first. Academy coach to doing the role he has to now with zero support, I feel sorry for him.
Ohhhh btw Ristac and me took pelters for pointing out the obvious truth...... You know who you are, and so do we!
