he is virtually unlistenable at times as he has this cringeworthy in the past crap talk that is all mouth. He loves to talk big club and such and it just comes out like fantasy. his problem is he's too accessible to media at times too.
The onoly intervew I watched this season was the recent BBC one about Sterling and the way he was referring to Sterling as kid boy good boy, made me cringe, I am sure it pissed Sterling off too. if you didn't know you'd have thought Sterling was 9 years old the way Rodgers was talking
I think fatigue is playing it's part also. Players like Sterling, Coutinho, Henderson have played a lot more mins this season compared to last. Rodgers hasn't rotated this squad enough times and it's showing.
We've no one of note to rotate. Cos he signed piles of **** I'm willing to write this season off, have been since week 8 but I really don't want him given more money, that means next season will be a crapshoot too as we are not good enough to sustain a challenge, not enough depth
It was painful but I watched the goals back - I retract my statement about Lovren being decent. At fault for the goals. Garbage.

I can't be bothered picking over the bones of this. As fans we deserved better, Rodgers and his players let us down.
Rodgers changed the system 4x during the match. Whilst I encourage managers to be pro-active, but if you have to change things 4x in 1 match, there is something fundamentally wrong.
Is it desire, or are our players tired? I think it's the latter considering Rodgers's doesn't rotate.
They are professional football players they should not be on their arse at this point in the season imo, I don't buy that one. It's the mentality the desire to win that was lacking.

I think once you start talking like he has you lose the dressing room quickly. when you say you lack winning mentality you effectively say these players aint up to it so i think while its ****ing true you make your own bed. they have been refreshed and let loose. We know within a couple years they'll be back at the bottom struggling but for now they have some good players and have a freedom to just go for it. all they need do is take 2 more wins and they might be safe. benteke is on fire... he will drop right off next season or be gone... but they wanted it more.
