We need to be able to hold the ball in our own half and move it about, that will make them drop off us, for that we need someone to drop off when needed. You look at United yesterday at Chelsea, they had 7 players across the middle at times from just inside their own half to centre mid, so Chelsea could not pressure them on the ball cos they always had passing option They did that against us at Anfield too.
I'd have had him there to link the defence and midfield with Allen, let Villa try press us then, will create yards of space for cout and Sterling. We need to be able to build attacks and Villa are stopping us, and we seem to be too rigid, each player left to his zone no matter what Villa choose to do. It matters nowt, you can put someone else in and if they are in the same role as Gerrard they will be just as ineffective cos our problem is not that am position, it's our own half of the pitch with or without the ball

Well. So far in this half we're atrocious, and there is a Villa goal! So easily out done. Gerrard completely out of position, awful defending by the lot of them. Just lol.

at what point this season did our short passing game go to ****, we were pretty good at one point and excellent last season. Too many touches, too laboured
The passing was good throughout the team, nowt to do with Suarez, am talking about the way we were great at building it from the back, this is in total contrast to the **** we are playing these days, like fear crept into us or something.
