Bad dive from Herrera but ref spotted it.

Don't blame him, he was frustrated because once Jose got to grips with your left sided attacks you could have played til xmas and not scored

It is possible that Jose planned it to be like this yesterday but there is no doubt to any impartial observer that united dominated the match and was the better team. No doubt whatsoever. Same as when Chelsea beat Barcelona defending with 11 men in the penalty area . Barca lost but they were the better team . I am not by a long shot comparing united to barca but it gives an example of a match where the better team lost .

Jose got the points he wanted . FairPlay to him if that us what he wanted. But the price he paid willingly (and deliberately according to him) was that his team was dominated at SB and was clear second best.

Of course that's what he wanted. Say what you will about him, Mourinho's the ultimate pragmatist and always has been. Winning is all that matters - he'd happily preside over the most boring and negative game ever witnessed if it ended in his team winning, or simply not losing.

I think the man would willingly take a dump in the middle of the pitch at Stamford Bridge, and wipe his arse with a club flag, if he thought it would get him an extra point in the league. And the bizarre thing is that most of the Chelsea fans would probably be applauding and cheering him on as he did it.

Im not disputing what you are saying. The point is that we set up to let you have more of the ball and considering you had 70% of possession, you didn't create much. With our 30% we created as much as you and scored a goal. Barcelona created a lot of chances but didn't take them.

Whereas you would rather play free flowing football all the time and lose? Van Gaal wouldn't.

I think the point is that football is a game that people pay to watch. Would most fans pay to see 11 men behind the ball, score a goal through one opposition mistake and spend the rest of the match desperately defending? I wouldn't and many fans wouldn't either.

It is terribly boring for anyone watching. Mourinho said "football is about points " No it isn't. The premiership title itself (the winning of it) might be but not football in general. Can anyone imagine that Madrid Barcelona or United accepting this type of football ? No chance.

No one wants to play free flowing football and lose. We want free flowing football and win. I am sure Chelsea with the massive resources they have can aspire to that. <ok>

And even if we played that style of football, which we did earlier on, you would pick at something else. Our ground sells out every week and hopefully we will win the title. The only reason you care is because you lost yesterday. If you won you wouldn't give a toss about our style.

Where was this desperate defending you speak of mate? It was just proper defending and United had no answer to it. Is that JM's fault? Should we have stood aside and let glorious Manchester United score? In an earlier post you even stated we were second best which is ludicrous. Your in for a big shock when you see the result.

LVG had all the information he needed prior to kick off. Chelsea would be happy not to lose. We had a forward with extremely limited mobility. United had to win to stand a small chance of winning the league. Did you expect Jose to play 4 up front and allow you to waltz through? I don't recall you lot having too many complaints when we dominated the game at OT prior to RVP's late equalizer.

United fans are desperate to class us as 'anti football' as if it's a stick to beat us with. Can I direct you to the goals scored this season stat?

Swarbs calls it above. Winning is all that matters.

I don't blame Chelsea for playing to their strengths, I do however feel that you missed an opportunity to take the game to us given our injuries and you being at home, that's all I would be disappointed with in your position. That said you are obviously short up top yourselves and so were perhaps a little limited.

Not true at all. I can absolutely see the reasoning in Chelsea wanting to get the job done at this stage of the season and I would expect United to do similar in the same situation when it's called for but overall, throughout a season, the job is also entertaining the supporters.

It's just ridiculous to suggest otherwise. No fans equals no football, the ONLY reason people actual watch is because it's entertaining. People don't go to matches to be bored by **** football then slap themselves on the back because they 'won', they go to be entertained.

Those ordinary players made Chelsea look like a club fighting relegation who just picked up the win, against all odds, thats kept them up.

Would you swap Jose for a manager who got the same results, but had you playing football?

You've clear never watched Chelsea <whistle>

Funny how winning is all that matters. Wasnt what Roman was saying before. Certainly not what Chelsea fans were saying a few months ago either. <whistle>

No good sticking your fingers in your ears shouting out the same old nonsense.

Just check the goals scored column and compare it to the super attacking teams who play this adorable mouth watering football. You'll find it is quite favourable for us relegation fodder. :1980_boogie_down:

LVG - He came, he saw, he got his ass handed to him by the master. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

You've had a chat with Roman mate? Despite thousands of requests for an interview and each and every one being declined UIR gets invited to his yacht and all is revealed.

    You're the man!

Dont need one. Peoples actions can tell you a lot about a person.

Sacking Jose for being dull and negative is a good indicator that the Russian holds performances very highly.

It will end in tears, you will win a few cups on the way.

Jose had only one option and that was defend and try and steal a goal, they are not good enough to take UTD on, in the normal footballing sense.

Jose is good at what he does, defend, defend, defend and steal a goal credit to him and his team for doing that.

Jose thinks United are a better team. Not that we didnt know already.

He will be praised for his dull and negative approach this season but he wasnt last year. If it doesn't work next year he will probably be out of a job and Chelswa will go through another 10 managers in a decade.

Try not to forget the odd league title.

If you lot spend a few more billion you'll probably win the possession cup. :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Mummy, mummy, Jose won't let us win. He's a nasty man.

As I said, you can be bullish now but soon enough, you'll be angry and confused as the sludge being served up in front of you.

You had better hope you keep winning titles (you wont).
