Watford strikers past and present all scoring at the moment.

Darious Henderson for Orient yesterday & Ashley Young for Man Utd today.. memories of 2006 :1980_boogie_down:

Young has been excellent in the early stages of this match. Seems to be having a new lease of life as LVG gets into his stride.

I see Richard Hill's Eastleigh have just about cemented a play-off spot in the Conference.

Hmmm - reading through that article it appears that Luther is no longer classified as English. :(

He did win the European Golden Boot Award in 1984...

I just wish he give more credit to us for taking him out of Tescos & launching his career. Left us PDQ when GT only offered him a 1 year contract - one of GT's rare mistakes. Also celebrated when he (frequently) scored against us. I do not have the fond feeling towards him as some do.

Not according to the stats. Ian Rush won it 83/84. That was the Season SLB was in Italy.

There is also a Golden Boot for the top scorer in England. I thought it was just that Wikipedia had it wrong, but I wouldn't expect the Recreation and Sports Soccer Statistics Foundation to get it wrong: http://www.rsssf.com/miscellaneous/gboot.html

Adam Johnson has been charged with a number of offences relating to under aged sex.

Trouble for him and will Sunderland keep playing the guy?

Surely he could arrange for a quick dementia diagnosis, then see if they can find a place for him in the House of Lords....
