OK so Horner gave Vettel 2nd place because he had bad luck today so its only fair he gives Webber a WDC then =D
Alonso and Webber are good mates, same manager, massa hot and cold through the season and they need a experienced driver that can help get the WCC.
No it wouldn't.Webber would have been told to let Vettel pass.SV is leading the WDC and Horner would be right to give this team order IMO.
For me it is way to early to give team orders. I think the last 5 races is when we can accept them. Not with 11 races to go.
Being mates and having the same manager doesn't change the fact that Webber will get the same treatment at Ferrari that he is currently getting at Red Bull. It would be a good deal for Ferrari, not so much for Webber.
Well stefano's place isnt secured for next season and Flavio is off the hook next year I believes, so it could happen. Mark could try to piss off RBR and Seb by jumping ship since treating him like a number 2....for what? 3 years now.
First off PMC.I hate team orders but they are now legal.Horner's 100% correct to make that call on behalf of RBR.
Exactly. He was a big critic after Germany last year and spent the rest of the season trumpeting very loudly that there were no team orders in RBR: Hypocrisy, pure and simple.
To be honest gene I think RBR do let their drivers race, but in todays situation I can see their point.
OK, irie, but how? Vettel is a kazillion points ahead and the team points would have been the same. Perhaps Red Bull don't trust Vettel not to take them both off? Perhaps his defence is as weak as his attack?
