I'll go with a vote for ACS as that seems to be the current town view

If GTE is a wolf then I have a feeling it will be over tonight! If so then GTE has layed a very very good game by somehow persuading us that his 'innocent villager' was a reference to MITO's 'lowly villager' argument. However, I think GTE is more likely to be working with you than ACS - so if GTE is a wolf (which I am still hoping but not convinced that he isn't) then you probably are too.

It ultimately wouldn't shock me to find out that MITO and GTE are the wolves and that I have had my pants pulled down and my eyes well and truly watered!!

I could second guess forever though. I almost hope there is a twist otherwise this game will fizzle out while we go through the motions.

 

I'm back. Read through. I am going to read back right through to make sure MITO hasn't done me like a kipper with the lowly reference i.e. someone else mentioned/in the OP. Provided that is not the case then I'm happy to go with majority. Everyone is now 2nd guessing, BobbyD an ACS are convincing, that is probably the point. What was behind not killing two? I take it we can lose?

It is way too risky. With only six left it means that 2 wolves shifting late could easily give us a dead townie or two!

I suggested it to see the responses and was surprised you didn't pull me up on the risks tbh.

 

I was at work (and watching racing) so didn't really think it through. I see what you mean 3v3 votes wise, timing wise it would be who switched latest. I thought you put a caveat in to avoid this though? Made sense (ish) at the time.

Anyway no need, we kill ACS, you investigate me/MITO, we kill Bobby. Bobby and ACS have played a great game. I'm going back through posts now though to make sure I haven't been duped by MITO but I have been convinced for a week

 

Out of interest - the initial connecton you made was Obi and Morgan being connected (either for good or bad) but was the next one the MITO lowly villager one?

 

Im not playing anyone. Im not sure how ive even been nominated as a wolf. Only incriminating evidence is lack of activity.

You know what they say. If it looks like a duck quacks like a duck its a duck. From day 1 ive looked like a townie and thats where ive been. However im very surprised that 1 of mito ir gte is the wolf. Mito especially as he seems to be a guiding light. You two are the ones that have been playing a blinder .

What i dont get is why morgan outed himself so early as the doctor to back up nev since we all believed nev (unless nev is playing a blinder and opted for the ultra high risk strategy there is nothing in it to say wolves cant eat wolves? That would be bordering on a sisu like conspiracy).

I just hope nev has visions of the right wolf though

 

The caveat reduced the risk of them arranging to agree beforehand. In theory it would have worked and would actually have been safer than the single vote. The risk is with timings. If they switched and one of our connections was lost/slow we could be caught out if they switched late (or even one of them did).

 

And also you expect the two townies sitting there with clicking refresh constantly

 

I'm actually looking forward to eight. Still have that nagging doubt eating away at me (unless its a wolf) that one (or both) of GTE or MITO has played a blinder but I can't get past the lowly villager bit. Also, both GTE and Bobby are currently very relaxed about the way its going to proceed. Obviously bravado would help a wolf tonight but does nothing to help tomorrow when we can be certain what is going to happen. Its almost like you a wolf is sitting there smiling, saying yes we'll all be dead tomorrow but thinking to themselves - Yes but you'll all be dead tonight!

 

Both MITO and GTE have quacked louder than you! That's all we have to go on - that and the fact that 5 into 4 doesn't go!

I agree mito has quacked super loud. What exactlyhas gte done to be known as a townie. As far as I'm concerned hes been about as helpful as me. Probably less so in the past few days since the town has been shaping up

He has been off radar because mito has basically not fingered him and he did something which I'm not entirely sure about.

Tbh i thought it was acs and afc but now afc has been exonerated and for me its between mito and gte. Gte gets my vote hence my asking of you to investigate him tonight. If he ends up being the wolf we will win. If mito is the wolf i will die and mito has fooled us all and is a dirty evil schemer

 

He has been as helpful as MITO to be fair, mainly just by allowing us to have two 'free' known townies through the PM thing. Other than that both MITO and GTE have made good and bad guesses - same as the rest of us!

 

it would be hilarious if after all of this.... Nev was actually a wolf and had taken us t the cleaners.
