barnet drew 1-1. rovers ends 1-1. barnet stay top. we threw it away. we needed barnet to mess up, they did. but we failed to take advantage. FFS. im pissed off now.
With FGR and Eastleigh scoring goals for fun the playoffs are not going to be easy, I still believe in DC and the team to see us back into league 2 Sat in front of the computer getting more depressed watching the scores coming through and seeing Dover equalise Im wondering why Dawson didn't play
If it comes to the playoffs, I still believe we can get through. We'll see how Barnet get on without Akinde.
Gastro, you keep missing my posts about this. Akinde is not banned. There is a cut off date for bookings and that was the 16th April. So his yellow today doesnt count towards anything. Therefore he is free to play.
DC got the tactics wrong today. Should have been 442 rather than 433. Harrison was knackered tracking back as well as being our main threat. Their goal came from Lockyer taking a free kick instead of Mansell or Lines. It was a poor one and the keeper cleared.... A poor game...no flow...lots of anxiety. Everyone 5/6 out of 10, though I would possibly give Lockyer and Lines 6/7 and Harrison 8. I now think Blisset just isn't good enough. We did not deserve 3 points and did not look like a promotion side. Nice ground and our fans were excellent.
