Halftime; Saints depart to search for the 'g' that the commentator believes is appended to Schneiderlin's name.
He's been commentating on us since we got back in the league, how can you pronounce a player as prominent as Morgan's name wrong for 3 ****ing years? His job is pretty much just to say player's names sometimes stringing them together with complicated phrases such as 'passes to' 'tackles' 'crosses in for' and he can't even do that. I despair.
TBH I think we've been fairly average and Stoke have had the better chances. Our passing has been poor (our completion rate is only 73% - lower than Stoke's) and we only look like we have a threat on the counter, and Mane is certainly leading that charge. Davis seems to be a bit out of form at the moment, he has got into some really good positions in the final third, but his attacking passes have been pretty poor quality - I'm surprised Ward-Prowse didn't start ahead of him.
Well we're leading. Thats about all i can say as somehow the britania sucks the life out of football being played there. I imagine an all time world XI would get a lazy one- nil there as its just the home of routine and depression. I dont really care as long as we win and we've been the better side in terms of threat so lets just keep it up. PS Clattenburg is having a really good game in my opinion, seems spot on with every call.
Stoke edging it on possession and shots but they have not managed one on target and the goal has given Saints a great base - no red cards please!
Also Steven Davis really hasn't been the same since he got back from that little injury, feels like he's been caught on the ball more in the past two games than in his entire time at Saints prior. Wouldn't mind seeing JWP or possibly Reed on.
Just been well-informed by a coffee barista that http://www.rojadirecta.me/ is great for streams. Turns out it is! We look dangerous today which is refreshing. Very unlucky booking for Clyne who it looked like was tripped into the 'foul' he then committed.
Agreed. Davis was always solid if unspectacular. He was a great footballer in that sense but he has ****ed up constantly in the last few games...maybe time to bench him for a bit and give someone else the spot
Agreed, he has been caught on the ball. However, he still plays a good game off the ball, but I'd still be looking at JWP in a while.
