It is fully costed as they've given pound for pound savings to expenditure.

You're assuming that we will do worse outside of the EU, which is an opinion. What is a FACT is that we would save the money as listed in the costed UKIP manifesto. What happens next is up for debate but clearly not of enough significance that the CEBR felt they wouldn't put there name to the figures.

 

My point was more, why aren't the other parties expected to have there manifestos independently costed too?

It would bring some credibility back to politics if people believed the parties could find the money to fulfil there pledges. As it stands it's all empty promises.

 

Who are the CEBR though? Truly independent or agenda driven think tank??? Genuine question, I dont know.

 

I believe one of the things they do is provide statistics for the EU so can't imagine they would want to see UKIP actually win the election

Though I don't know enough about them to be certain they are 100% independent.

Leaving the EU WILL have a negative effect on trade with the EU, that's not an assumption it's a ****ing fact. We'll become subject to export taxes which will affect how competitive we are in that market, that's basic economics 101. Only UKIP have completely glossed over it and have assumed that there'll be zero negative impact economically which is complete horse **** and you've fallen for it.

Irrespective of the plausibility of their economic strategy, there are so many reasons why no intelligent person should exercise a single brain cell wondering whether or not to take UKIP seriously.

I haven't responded in regards to the EU as your first comment was so ****ing rude, why would I engage in a debate with someone who from the off is looking to attack anything I say? I've more than once on these forums talked about the EU and several of the reasons I don't think it's in the UKs best interests. For a piece of **** like you though I won't bother
