Thats also bullshit. Nobody wants them to get hurt and in crashes nowdays they very rarely are. That was a fair thing to say in the 80s.

Hamilton had a good race but Alonso was immense.

 

Well he was continually behind Lewis ever since Lewis overtook him... and we can only assume if he'd upped his pace he'd suffer the same fuel issue.

Yeah I can agree with you on that. Alonso is the best driver on the grid, no doubt even as a Hamilton fan I can say that, but put Lewis in a Ferrari/Red Bull, he will give Fernando a run for his money.

Just look at 07 and what Hamilton did. He matched Alonso on points in rookie year.

I don't think there was much between Fernando and Lewis today for driver of the day; class of the field.
