Judgemental much? I'll be voting UKIP and I'm most definitely not racist or a little englander. Someone having a different opinion on how the country should move forward doesn't mean they don't want a decent future for the country.

Fair enough, it's my personal opinion though that Farage is a ****ing loon leading a party of imbeciles. The sooner he and they disappear after the General Election the better.

....and you pinko ******s, with your "come on in, there's room for everyone" attitude will run the country into the ground again.

That slack jawed mouth breather that heads the labour party pretty much sums up you lot.

So it wasn't the bankers that caused the recession then it was immigrants ? Typical right wing racist logic I suppose,I wouldn't expect anything else from an EDL wannabe.

So UKIP are the only party to have had there manifesto independently costed (by the Centre for Economic and Business Research). Is this not something that should be mandatory for all of the main parties? Surely having a financial plan that can be independently verified shows it is a plausible proposal so all major parties should have to go through this process, no?

One of the main irritations people have with the political system are all the empty promises for more funding for xyz without any explanation of how they will find the money.

I dont think anyone on here has said they are going to vote for a socialist party, much less the communist party - so not sure why you need to be so aggressive using an insulting slur. Where has anyone said they want to open the doors to everyone? Each party has a policy for dealing with immigration - illegal immigration being the biggest problem - from the Tories (which laughably didnt work) to the greens.

The issue people have is that an investment banker who is on record for making racist and sexist comments is trying to divide our society by turning us (especially our poor and working class) against another poor and vulnerable section. Using very emotive, racial and divisive language yo cause fear and resentment- while difflecting blame and responsibility from bankers and the rich and powerful. Who he will reward if he gets into power.

Given the chance I'd vote for a truly socialist party. There again I'm just a pinko who believes in a fairer society.

Ive got to say my belief is that UKIPs policies arent just empty promises but a smokescreen for their real intentions which is to go further than some of the worst excesses of Thatcher (besides privatisation, as i actually believe that he wont privatise any more and may nationalise some things)

I was interested to see what people thought about having to get manifestos independently costed to show they are plausible rather than full of empty promises, which UKIP happen to have taken the lead with. People are very quick to call UKIP loonies but they have provided a fully costed and independently verified manifesto which none of the other parties have done.

I think it might be an idea to require political parties to have this done, what do you think?

I first heard it mentioned on one of the TV debates and the BBC articles for the launch of the UKIP manifesto. Seems like a really good idea to me and people might have more faith in the political parties if they could show some proof that theyre not just making stuff up to win votes when in reality the policies can't be afforded.

UKIP have used the Centre for Economic and Business Research (www.cebr.com)

What happens to UKIP's spending plans if the population voted to remain as part of the EU in a referendum ?

Being called a Racist little Englander isn't an insulting slur then? You pinko ******s are so full of bullshit and have no clue about the real world. Most of you probably live on handouts from the DSS while smoking 40 a day & drinking own brand cider on a park bench.

p.s. If you live in the UK and are poor, it is almost certainly down to your being a lazy, work shy git.

It's imbeciles like you that try to make out that UKIP are nothing more than a bunch of racists that offer nothing to society in general. You have no grasp in reality and were raised to be a scrounger with an expectation that the rest of us should keep you fed and watered while you sit on your arse watching Jeremy Kyle all day.

I'd swap the likes of you and your fellow bottom feeders with hard working immigrants any day of the week. Twat.

Off the top of my head UKIPs manifesto had approx 32b of pledges and only 9b of that came from leaving the EU. So if we chose not to leave the EU the UKIP manifesto still only has a hole in it the size of the Tory NHS funding that they haven't managed to cost... So I'd imagine a few changes to the manifesto and it wouldn't be too much of a problem. Obviously the party believes leaving the EU will free up a lot of funds to pay for there policies so it makes sense to price there manifesto that way.

As I say those figures are off the top of my head and could be inaccurate.

60p in the pound for the ultra rich and ending corporate tax dodging would give the Greens £137bn extra for the public purse :)
