Only hot air if you blew her up with kettle steam or anything else you conjured up. Bet your lungs are knackered, does she look like Kim Bassinger or Kim please deflate me? ****ing hell QWOP, there's sheep in Oxford that will give you a good night, didn't realise things had got so bad..
Kim Jong Un. What a hairstyle . Nah seriously she is a nice lass. Doesn't live too far away and posh (by my standards) so is quite dirty! Anyway back on topic..... Here is a favourite of mine.
Just had a listen mate, they nailed the intro, the most important part for me but founder on the vocals and backing vocals. The Stones version is probably as close to a perfect song as anyone will ever get in my eyes.
Overlooked far too often in my eyes. Not one of my favourites of theirs but an unbelievable band. Sit Down, Born of frustration, Getting away with it and Sometimes are ****ing hymns in the church of cool.
Unbelievable song. The music being bandied around is class. Just waiting for some ****er to come on with Queen or Prince to **** it up now.
They were a top band in the early 70's, I hated the ****ers, the fact that they chose that song to launch themselves is a credit to the Stones.. Like you said mate, near perfect..
The only reason they're not considered the greatest band to have walked the earth more... For me... Is John Lennon. Stick him in Bananarama and they'd be gods.
Lennon had a lot of flaws, as much as I loved his solo music, there were flaws in him and sometimes the music.. http://listverse.com/2012/05/12/top-10-unpleasant-facts-about-john-lennon/
I struggle to pick a fave by James, but it would probably come down to Sometimes or Just Like Fred Astaire. Sometimes, the best song I've heard live. Hopefully I'll get to see them again at the Hardwick Hall Festival in August.
The last song I ever listen too before bed when I listen to music. It's my song for my beautiful disabled wife, brings many a tear..
Can't imagine what you are going through mate but you have my utmost respect and I hope I would be able to do the same if anything like that ever happened to my missus.
Wow, Disco, you blew my head off with the Gimme Shelter one. The images brought back so many memories Kent State Massacre, a young Fidel Castro, the Kennedy assassination, the footprint on the moon, Nixon boarding the helicopter on the White House lawn for the very last time. the Buddhist monks in Nam, the naked kids running to safety, Woodstock, a young Ali, Malcolm X, King, a Hendrix who already knew he was a marked man, Andy Warhol, and, if I'm not much mistaken, Mayor Daley at the Siege of Chicago. So many, many memories - thank you for that. Cheers, mate.
