Off Topic Hull's £25m City of Culture revamp starts...

I wonder how many other people think that the City of Culture work consists solely on some fountains in the City Centre?

I just can't see what's not to like.

 

I agree, I do worry where the extra cash will come from though, is anyone else worried that what is delivered doesn't exactly live up to our expectations.?
I don't exactly want the City Of Culture tag to turn this city into a financial blackhole - Ala, Millenium Dome.

 

ALL I am saying is......... this City Of Culture could either make or break this city.
I'm hoping for the former rather than the latter.
