Have you asked the French what they think about it? France is one of the best places to work, employees actually have rights and people get paid what they deserve. They have a great education system, their infrastructure is one of the best in Europe and their citizens are generally much happier than here.

These lefties only have to look to France to see how the UK would turn out given a chance to pursue their policies. France rejected the idea of trying to pay its way. It is now lumbered with mounting debts, no growth, massive unemployment and no sign of improvement. Maybe they know the UK public is not daft enough to go down that route.

 

The structural Deficit has been Halved over the last 5 years but don't let this fact interfere with your sound bite.

France is a wonderful place to live unless you need a job. The education system is far too rigid, you learn to rely on the state, plus the state teachers are always on strike. The citizens are not happy which is why the political extremes are popular. Unless they address their debts then the quality of life will get worse. I hope they don't mess it up or else I will not return to see out my golden years there.

They keep banging on about the Tories run by Rich Toffs but they don't want to admit that the Shadow Cabinet aren't short of a few bob themselves! Aunt Hetty is the Niece of Lord Longford, privately educated and never done an honest days work in her life. Then there's the Honourable Tristram Hunt the Shadow Education Secretary. The Son of a Lord who owns a huge country pile. Emily Thornberry again privately educated and not content with just one home she owns three!

Back in the day the Labour Party was the party for the workers and run by the workers. They worked in factories and down the pits before coming into politics to improve the conditions of the working man. Nowadays the majority have never been near a factory floor! Miliband has never been involved in business and it shows!

But I guess it's far more noble being a champagne Socialist than a monied Tory!

What the Tory-twats always forget is that Cameron was calling for less banking regulations during the financial crisis a few years back. Luckily Brown managed to sort things out for us, it'd have been a hell of a lot worse otherwise.

The vast majority of regular posters on here are proud of the fact that debates are held in a reasonable manner without resorting to abuse or name calling.
This thread is now spiralling away from that atmosphere and, indeed, I have had PMs from some regulars saying if the constant backbiting and abuse doesn't stop they won't post on here.
If people continue to post in that vein I may well consider banning people (and that includes visitors from other team's boards) or I might even close the thread. Yes it's censorship but I am not going to lose regulars (especially at this stage of the season) because people can't debate without name calling (that includes terms like Nazi and lefty ******s) and continual inflammatory expressions.

 

Sorry but what is the expression 'lefty' other than a derogatory comment. Together with so many other derogatory terms used to describe everything which you personally do not like. Unfortunately the tone and insults being expressed on here at the moment may well be keeping decent posters away from the thread.
