That is exactly the clear, transparent leadership we need but I fear any owner that tried that would face a backlash from some fans the minute they sold a Byram as a lot of fans seem more emotionally attached to our players.

NR feels that Charlie Taylor's future is at left back. Delighted with Kalvin Phillips even if he does not play in next 3 games.

Nope, it's all true. You couldn't make this level of incompetence up. Both Us and the audit company could be in the ****. The inland revenue are now in checking everything.....

Hmmm, Andrew Umbers, before he joined Cellino, he was an adviser to GFH. Quite unbelievable

I think you've hit one of nails on head LoL........:emoticon-0148-yes:

Many fans do tend to get emotionally attached to certain players, and in their eyes the player/s can do no wrong whether they play good or bad.

Using Berardi as an example, he had a bad start to the season cos of 2 red cards, some fans even today continue to label him because of what happened 40 odd games ago, yet he's playing very well now since Redders was forced to bring him back, and he's kept his position. Does it pose the question of what could've been? I believe it does.

There was a lot of emotional attachment towards Warnock, they were saying he's our best player, he's the most consistent etc etc, but we were leaking a lot of goals from his side; up steps Taylor, the goals stopped being leaked, Taylor played much better than Warnock (although still learning) and Warnock was virtually forgotten; even at Derby it seems.

Football is a game of chess, sometimes you have to sacrifice pieces for the greater good, that's how it is in football. Taking everything into account, emotional attachments alone do not win promotion or silverware.

All opinions though LL give me Warnock and how he was playing at LB over Berardi, I felt Warnock was far better. Sell any player for the better of them team, I agree.

Sell Ross for big money, promise to buy the ground back with it then fail to deliver and fail to invest the transfer fee in decent players I disagree. I said back in November more people would start to see through Cellino, you will too eventually <ok>

But the value of your player SALES was £3M more in Cellino's first year in charge than it was in the last 8 years of Bates in charge <doh>
