Wow, I've missed a lot in this thread. Only got back from a weekend on the piss and playing golf so dropped off to sleep at 10 last night. Sorry LL, some interesting points you've made but you seemed to be as biased towards "Cellino signings" as you claim Redders is to the "academy" boys. Regardless of who anyone is they should be picked on merit. Surely it cannot be denied that we were going well until Cellino stepped in again with his bizarre decision to sack Thommo. I've said before I'm not in the slightest bit interested in Cellino avoiding his taxes but I do care about the running of Leeds United, and just as we seemed to be making progress he upset things again and questions ought to be asked why. Sorry but I also think there is no need to suggest racial reasons are playing a part in Redfearn's selections
Hey'up LoL, I'm not biased towards Cellinos signings, but I do think some, not playing in first team are better, or have more potential than Redders would have us believe. I also believe our problems lay in midfield because that's where we seem to be losing it. Sorry but I also think there is no need to suggest racial reasons are playing a part in Redfearn's selections
I wasn't making any racial suggestions against Redders, although I can see what point you were referring to. The comment was in reference to players from overseas, like you said, it shouldn't matter where players are from, if they're good enough they play, they wear the shirt they play for Leeds. "Players are picked on merit' I don't believe Redders is standing by his statement. In regards to Thommo sacked, it was first said that some players went and complained about the treatment they were receiving from Thommo, then there was the offensive remark situation, some say the word ****** was used. I can understand some thinking it was a bizarre decision at this stage of season but, if any person had made the same offensive remark to their boss, would they still have a job? Had Thommo not made the offensive remark/s, do you / they think he'd still be at Leeds and number 2? We are a frustrated fan base that craves a return of our passed successes; our emotional feelings, and with some, hatred, are going to over ride our ability to reason from time to time, but I don't think we, as a fan base should step too far from the big picture being presented, not only from the boardroom, but also from the dressing room.

Are you a burglar? You are right the fan base should always be watching the big picture. Let's look at it. Ego maniac crook in charge of 85% of the club. Bent potless Arabs own the remaining 15%. Main owner currently banned, in court as I post, and will be banned for two more years if guilty. Money from transfers not being reinvested on the team, squatting in our ground, no new training facility established Head coach is clueless and was over performing running a kids team. Assistant coach sacked for unexplained reasons and not replaced. Team 15th in the second tier for a second season but with worse stats than last year. Dressing too totally divided with no solution in sight. Playing boring football where we are near enough always second best in terms of goals, shots and possession. The future of Mowatt, byram, Cooper and Cook looks like it will be elsewhere. Bamba leaving because we won't pay him what he can get elsewhere. Divided fanbase. The list is not exhaustive.
As you know Chippy I agree with some of your points, but the others are more personal perceptions and opinions, as is with anyones points...... Bit worried about the above Chippy, we can't play in 3 piece suits......
This is what Tony Currie says about Redders if anyone's interested. Taken from a post who copied from the YEP. I think the spelling Redfun is a piss take. 15/04/2015 1:54 PM GDT TonyCurrie, All the players that put on a Leeds shirt Tuesday PLUS Del Fabro, Adryan, Sloth, Austin & Cani. (Benedicic, Bianchi, inj.) ARE FAR BETTER THAN A 15th SIDE. They have shown that many times this season. The problem is that the idiot in charge is a lying weasel and from the day he lied his way into the job he has not accepted blame once for .... our losses, our bad play, our lack of cohesion and structure in defence, our lack of strategy and ball movement in the front third, the lack of consistency in our performances...he has under utilised many of our players he lied about Mirco and stuffed him around. Redfun is an inept idiot. And if you lot think that this mediocre man will take our club to the PL? You are more delusional than he is. REDFUN OUT!!!
It's refreshing to see an ex player, especially one as good as Tony Currie was, not holding back and speaking as a true fan as to what he really feels. Respect to the guy
Maybe there's something that happened between them. Whatever people think of his first team skills, you can't knock him at youth level.

You maybe right with some of the players, hard to tell as some haven't played much but Redders seems to be fair to me. Bellusci, Bamba, Silvestri and others all feature regularly as has Berardi of late. As it happens I don't think Thommo would still be here, I think Cellino is selling up and changing the management team, another excuse would have been found. Anyway it's a bit hypocritical of Cellino if an offensive remark was the cause, I seem to remember him in interview telling us how he told Hockaday to "shut the **** up" as he didn't want his opinion. I'm Frustrated as you with how the season has gone and completely respect your views on the situation. Said all along, all I want is an ambitious owner who wants Leeds to be a success whether that is Cellino or not. So unless a takeover is close and that is the cause for the changes at the top then I can see why he would Rock the boat at this point.

It makes us nervous.

Posting at 4.30! Are you a burglar?
Il bet a taxi driver Question will be when will I be over again at all Shaks. There will have to be substantial progress on the field to be honest for me to bother. That Fulham game we attended was some of the worst crap imaginable. Thank god for the distractions that day to keep me awake
