Just been looking at the fixtures and can see it will be an uphill struggle if we hope to stay up. Still, heres hoping! The three points docked from Rotherham will help, but its up to the boys to do their bit and capitalise on that. Remember Jacob's Ladder, he made it to heaven.
The fl didn't dock Blackpool points for committing a worse breach of the ineligible player rule. If the rule was broken it was in a way less deliberate than Blackpools. I can see a fine of £20k at worst. If you stay up you will have to deserve it...
So even if they get docked three points (which they won't due to the Blackpool precedent). Where do you get the points to overtake them out of your last four games. You will win one more, so will they... Ahem.
Shut up you tart, you wonder why I say you only open your mouth to change feet Norman! Blackpool weren't deducted any points earlier this season because they lost the game against us, so as they didn't gain any points they were only fined instead. AFC were deducted three points for the same offence last season after beating Cheltenham 4-3. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/27192069
Read the official judgement I would link it if I had time. The result wasn't part of the penalty. Rotherhams is a very technical breach and is certainly arguable, put the straws down you should be doing chores not clutching. Have a good break from work.
They either have confirmed FL approval that the loan was extended or not, simple as that. The loan expired two days before they beat Brighton, they'll have to explain why was the player left out against Middlesbrough if as Evans claims, that the loan was already extended till the end of the season by then. Either they've got proof, some other sort of covering note type proof or not.
I should be the judge on the FL panel. They broke the rule. My finding would be as follows: 1. Deduct 6 points for being dirty stinking cheats. 2. Deducted a further 6 points for being Northern fairies. 3. Deducted a further 4 points for only being shandy drinkers 4. Evans to serve a period of not less than 10 years as feeds manager. That would send a clear message that cheats will not prosper, and also that I am totally fair and not biased against Northerners.
Mine also do when it's anything that I can control Kev. No spotters out at Clapham junction yet! On the way to Guildford atm.
Blackpool were only fined because they didn't gain any points through their cheating, Rotherham won and the ineligible player played the whole game earning the man of the match award, as he is a defender he played a major part in Rotherham's 'win'. At least a three point deduction and a heavy fine due to having a heavy manager who happens to be a major ****!!
It's not that I dislike Rotherham......I fecking hate them with a passion. Ever since they beat us 4 - 0 when they had Emlyn Hughes as a manager - not that I hold grudges you understand
