I bet you barca and top teams would choose monk over that useless git laudcrap any day of the week....<ok>

Nobody will be leaving this season other than maybe michu and that is not a certainty....we will be recruiting and not selling anyone....

    Well this is entertaining but:

"His fan club have been extolling his many virtues all season, although I'm still looking for them."

Good signings under him; a record points total under him; possibly our highest finish ever under him. I'm not a 'Monkee' at all but I'll give credit where it's due.

Just to help you out Libby as you seem a tad myopic. Here you go.

Monk wouldn't be employed as a programme seller at either Barca or Real, and that's a FACT. <laugh>

Better than selling sand in the desert.
Shame you have such a low regard for a manager (in his first full season) who is about to lead us to our best ever points total in the league and done the double over the likes of Man Utd.

The "bitterness" oozes from the likes of Dai and Valley, plus a few others.
They have been indulging themselves for a very long time.
I remind them when one of them takes a swipe at Laudrup.
    So,no "bitterness" from me,since I have no agenda. I don't need one.
When Monk actually achieves something tangible,I will acknowledge it.
Until then he still walks in the shadows of most of his predecessors,i.e.,those who earned promotions, won Cups, etc.
Laudrup received a huge pay off from the Swans',and that sticks in their craw.

    <cheers>

Hmmm... interesting. So what does a record performance and possibly our highest position ever in the Prem mean to you then Lib? Nothing I guess. Bit of a skewed view that. As you know i'm not a 'Monkee' but you have to credit him for that surely? Or not as the case may be.

Ooh I like the Fuchs story. Good player. :)

...& hasn't won a cup or gained European qualification this season, but may do in the future.

Bob/Vetch, are you disappointed that Monk is on the verge of giving us our best season in this league in his first season in charge. Nobody on here saw this coming in the summer and is a huge achievement.

Bob, let's put the sniping aside for a moment. You've been watching the Swans for XX years, through thick and thin, which is almost certainly a lot longer than I have, so full respect for that. <applause>

Bar one season under Toshack when Swansea finished 6th, Swansea are currently enjoying their longest spell of top-flight football in their history (as far as I'm aware), having finished 11th, 9th, 12th and probably somewhere between 8th and 10th this season. After all those midweek trips to Carlisle on a Tuesday night, I would imagine you are relishing where Swansea are at present. Garry Monk has carried on this success. I know you don't like him, but unless we lose the next 6 he will set a points record for Swansea in the Premier League era. To me, that is something to be celebrated as it's an achievement in it's own right.

However, you APPEAR from your posts to be not enjoying the process. To be honest, I don't get it. Please enlighten. Cheers!

    Nothing to enlighten aswan,

Bob's a wum, simple as that. For proof read back his last ten posts. You'll notice too that when bob posts his crap, almost always the next post will be lillith. Happens too often to be coincidence. Lillith is an old poster hiding behind a new login and pretending to be a woman, how pathetic is that. You'll get the wibble chipping in too so just ignore them, they are nothing to this forum.

    Anyway, back to the thread-head

This made me laugh. Apparently we have to sign this guy or we're doomed.
