You lot need to relax We didn't threaten all night, sat back watched you pass it about for 45 minutes, then second half you moved up 1 gear and it was very easy. controlled, simple but you could do with creating a few more chances apart from that I can see you playing Premiership Football next season, can't help but feel it will be via the play offs though. Also brought arguably the best amount of fans to Elland Road this season but was surprised how little noise you made. was it nerves? you should enjoy this football while you can. You guys know what its like in the Prem so you won't find games as easy as last night.
@The-Don Just curious as to why your signature features an adult male in a pink shirt obviously having some form of seizure? WTF?
back when I enjoyed being a Leeds fan mad how one of the worst footballers helped us get promoted though, 100% all the time wherever you put him. Was he any good when he was younger with you guys?
Haha, I can throw together a pretty basic one of you like to get the ball rolling. Never know, it might work! Thanks for all the kind words by the way everyone, and as great a personal achievement as it has been for me I don't think I can take all the credit, surely the gaffer and players must get a tiny bit of as surely their contribution is almost on a par with that of mine Job isn't done yet though, still time for it to go horribly wrong, though let's keep the faith and not even consider that happening. If we do manage to win the rest of the games to claim the title do you reckon there's any chance the club will have a medal made up for me?
I'm sure there's every chance, Munky, and if not we'll have a whip round to get one knocked up for you! please log in to view this image
Incidentally, do we know why Dorrans took the pen in the first place? Surely with Wes and Jerome on the pitch they'd be ahead of him?
Yeah, I was amazed when Goreham said Dorrans was going to take it given that Wes converted one not so long ago, and Jerome was there as well. Luckily it did not cost us in the end.
Thoughts: Definitely a pen - I know it seems harsh, but with current rules you cannot pull a player around like that especially in the box. Dorrans pen was well struck and completely did the goalkeeper but no need to hit it so hard! I always find that weird when professional footballers do that - place it out of reach Great finish from Howson but I do not believe he meant that first touch - it fooled the keeper though! I don't know what Redfearn was moaning about with Jerome - the ball was quite clearly on the line and the lino was right on top of it to confirm
