Redfearn predicts success in 2 seasons, really! There's only 3 options open to that prediction. We gain promotion next season and only qualify for Euro the season after. We win the FA Cup next season and League Cup season after We gain promotion in 2 seasons time. Redfearn did manage to omit the word promotion though so, assuming he's talking promotion, Cellino wants promotion next season, Redders predicts it in 2 seasons and the new coach will have different ideas; where does that actually leave us? http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....redicts-real-success-in-two-seasons-1-7202328
It's redfearn pleading for a contract extension. The way things are going he might get it. God can you imagine this clown in charge when cellino has sold silvestri, by ram, mowatt, Cook and Murphy. Things could get much much worse. On a different note, make some money today. Back Watford to win by four or more.....
Success for us, based on the past four or five years, would simply be a play-off push that hasn't petered out by February.
it leaves leeds in the championship after todays performance think we need a few good defenders before we can move into premiership and still not sure leeds will go up next season we should have put alex neil in charge but norwich saw a good manager and snapped him up , i saw him at start of this season . redfearn complains without thompson leeds cannot play the same , i say RUBBISH its redfearn and players fault if leeds dont perform
Exactly why bother getting in top 6 when bonus given for finishing in top 12 , teams like hull , swansea , wigan , etc etc can get promoted yet leeds year after year are struggling to get out of championship , and defenders year after year who cannot defend but go to reading , hull , ,bournemouth , brentford, can teach defenders how to defend how come leeds cannot ??? its ridiculous bring norman hunter out of retirement he will soon bite their legs ! there must be good quality players out there we keep getting told well known players would like to come to leeds so where are they ??
Odd sensation this, and I didn't expect it to ever happen, but I actually agree with Sniffer here! 2 excellent points - 1. 12th place is ambitious? 2. Our crap players seem to do rather well elsewhere, don't they?
I can only think of one player in recent times who I considered crap at Leeds (and that's probably only because Grayson played him out of position) who has gone on to do well at another club and that's Bradley Johnson
To be fair Zaliukas left us and went down to northern premier league standard before he looked reasonable. You and me could play as Rangers centre halves and they would still be third in the sweattie also ran league.
