He can't be that intelligent otherwise he'd get the **** out of town !!
I can't say too much about the Welsh as my mother-in-law was born in Swansea <doh>
Although to be fair... She upgraded to Darlo so fair play to her !! :emoticon-0148-yes:

Some relevant points in amongst the usual ****e marra.
It's unbelievable that even tho we are being subjected to utter dross we continue to get 40,000 + thru the turnstiles.
Do we ever fail to sell out away from home even tho we are crack ?!? Rarely !!
That still isn't good enough for some sets of supporters (you know the ones who bring 300-600 to our place) <doh>

It is, there's quite a few sensible replies there. Didn't know Pontypandy was in Swansea like..

There's always the odd exaggeration in most threads but he's being countered by others with more perspective.

And to be fair, that's the second time in 3-4 weeks we've taken a beating at home. A mass walk out was inevitable, as one said in the thread, as a protest to the board if nothing else.

And as another guy mentioned, the team gave up long before the fans did!!!

It's quite a decent thread to be fair, balanced out by the other posters.

What the hell's their gripe? One of them mentions having 20k for the Premiership, but doesn't consider that when half of ours walk out, we've still got as many remaining as they have to start with! 20k - <laugh> Let's see how many fans Swansea have when they've been insulted and bored rigid for five years running like we have. Don't get me wrong - I'm not having a pop at Swansea City. But I do think they should understand the broader picture here before they criticize our support. We've got a Chairman who has poured millions into this, and year after year, we're sh*t on. Patience with our so-called 'football men' is running out now - and so it should. If anything, it's long overdue.

I didn't personally have an issue with those who walked, I totally understood it.

The key thing when looking at our support is the 40,000 plus average. That says all that needs to be said, although we could throw in selling out 90% of away games despite geographical restrictions.

I've left early once, a 0-4 v Spurs at Roker Park in the Reid years.

We sat in the Red Lion and regretted it immediately, vowed never again. Been ****ing tempted mind.

Listening to some of the national radio stations, most of the comments that I have heard are slating our supporters for turning against our new manager after just two games...My gripe was not so much against the people who left, although it is something that I have never done myself, but the lack of any vocal support from the very start which I found totally baffling considering we had just beat the Mags with a stadium that was bouncing.

I'd be very surprised if anyone has turned against Dick Advocaat. Let's face it, Dick has inherited a shower of sh*t. None of this has anything to do with him.

I wouldn't absolve the bloke of all blame, if Sunderland have only got one way to play and one set of starters to choose from, he's not required in the slightest, let's face it, if he was hired for his enthusiasm he looks about as charismatic as a Bran Flake.

He should take part responsibility, the game was out of your reach before he reacted.

It's a decent thread. My stance is I've got nothing against the enough is enough fans, I had to leave but would have stayed had my lift wanted to. But there were some thing I saw which made me ashamed. The groups with their hands and eye's on their smartphones all game in the middle of the south stand. The ones who left at one down and the shameful petulant racism from the stands.

This is a worry to me mind RAW, cos it's clearly right.

What the **** do our PR department do to make almost every news agency anti-Sunderland? They must be ****ing idiots.
