Paper talk or is this a serious possibility.

Stats look very good (1 goal in 4 games as a winger)

    & pay high not outlandish.

Looks like a good prospect and a huge catch if we can net him.

He's young too. We certainly need an out and out winger as both Dyer and Routledge are not getting any younger. Dyers form too has been questionable this season so a winger with a new striker are necessary additions to the squad.

Sounds like it's between us and Roma. Obviously Champions League football will be an advantage for the Italians but the pull of the premier league should not be under-estimated. As for Dede, he really is a world class player as his goals in Brazil last year show. Has a great deal of experience for his 25 years and having heard rumours pre-season also, it seems there may be some truth in the rumours we're after him. Really hope it happens, if Dede turns out to be even half as good as his old man we'll have a fantastic talent on our hands!

Only read this morning who his dad is - fantastic player in his time.
If it's the same player as I recall from WC and African CoN Andre Ayew strikes me as being very much like Everton's Pienaar - quick, skilful, direct & intelligent.

    Kwame,

Latest from sky suggests its between Arsenal, Newcastle and us. I hope Arsenal aren't in the chase as they'll be brining Champions League to the table. then there can only be one winner and it wont be us unfortunately.

“I talk to a lot with my friends who have played there. Samuel Eto’o, Alex Song, Samir Nasri, Joey Barton have all given me great advice about the Premier League."

    <doh> Joey ****ing Barton. FFS.

Of course we can - if we pay them enough.

Still can't get over the Gomis deal - but nor sure how much Monk was involved in that.
