Would you not just get a pint of each? A third of a pint is just a swig, doesn't seem worth it.

I think kids are exempt from half and half's and away's in Europe as a souvenir is just about acceptable.

Junior and I saw a bloke selling half and half's in Belguim, we saw the same bloke selling half and half's at Wembley a short while later, he must have been a professional half and halfer.

It gives you the chance to try a few different drinks, to see which you prefer. I guess it's a bit like a wine tasting (without spitting it out).

Isn't that right as well? Surely Whitefriggit, as people from Ull often say, is the wrong way to say it?

Edit - another one is Princes Quay as Princess Quay. Nearly every one I have ever heard say it says princess but that cant be right, can it? And shouldn't it have an apostrophe or is it not an actual prince's quay?

Maybe just call it prinny and you're safe.

A good landlord would pull you a taster off if you're unsure. My preference would be buy a pint & take a chance if it's a new, to me, beer.

There's a few of these around my way, the most absurd one is a road with a school and stuff on called Belvoirdale and all the local simpletons call it Beaverdale, I don't think they can read and pronounce Belvoir properly.

Another one is a nearby village which has had some media attention over all the king richard the turd stuff called Sutton Cheney, which is properly pronounced 'Cheenee' but all the monghole reporters kept saying 'Chaynay'

There's something funny but also sad that one persons enjoyment is affected by someone else wearing or even just buying a scarf.

It's ironic in the extreme how people like olm feel entitled to state what people can and can't wear.

    Theyll wear what they want.

My favourite Hullism is 'wait warl' as in ''wait warl yer dad comes 'ome' '', as opposed to 'wait until etc'. :emoticon-0100-smile

If you can tell them what they should pay to watch Hull City, I can tell them when they look a ****er in a scarf.

Half n Half scarfs i dont like because you never know which team the wearer supports.

The juniors dont like them though they know i would buy them one if they wanted one.

They like having a fiver bet each on the game score though .
When they win they share it.
