Nope, I don;t watch him all the time - but I do watch a considerable amount to make a far better informed opinion, rather than simply judging a 19 year on the back of 2 performances.
Voting for a 19 year old striker playing in the least attacking team . Difference between you and I is that I actually watch a lot of football, therefore don't need to rely on the opinions of others.
Jimmy has got a point though, look at the likes of Tevez and Mascherano signing for Wet Spam, they never inspired them to any great heights but were good players in a weak team, only time will tell whether either of you are right, but you seem to have already made your mind up he's ****e Tobes.
Oh do **** off. I've got a season ticket for a PL club and watch football virtually every day of the week you deluded pompous fool. I've forgotten more about the game in my 35 years of watching live football than you know. Lille aren't the lowest scorers in France btw and are 8th in Ligue 1, so your 'expert' knowledge is somewhat lacking
Didn't you know PMK - you're supposed to write off teenagers unless they play like Messi week in week out.
Tevez kept West Ham up, great example mate. The lad has done nothing to show that he's anything other than another quick forward who's far from prolific Those are the facts
Haha so your whole opinion is based on 2 performances, and the fact he hasn't scored many goals by the age of 19. Lol! #Stats
The best league in the World is the PL you dolt. I watch some Spanish and German football as well, but the leagues are nowhere near as competitive across the spectrum. There is no 'higher level' than those 3 leagues you humongous flute
Yes your point that they're supposedly the last attacking side in Europe is indeed a crock of absolute ****e
LOL - no mate, the PL is not the best league in the world. Well, it maybe exciting but in terms of actual footballing ability and quality, it's nowhere near. That comment alone says it all about you - you;re an old school Brit who thinks football is all about big tackles, fast and furious tempo.
Ian Rush Chester, Graeme Sourness Boro, Southall Wrexham?, the list goes on, great players from smaller clubs that don't fully realise their potential until they play at a higher level. It might go pop in his face in the prem, but until he's had a chance we'll never know. Well apart from you Tobes.
Seeing him playing up against PL defenders gives a perspective on how he might fare in the PL, but I suppose actually watching a player comes a low second behind some random blog that some quilt of a student who's not been within a country mile of a football stadium has written about his supposed forthcoming genius. Another elite talent, I can't wait to witness it
Which leagues are better then? Oh and I note you still never answered my question about how many times you'd actually seen Lille this season. Bullshitting clown
La Liga and Bundesliga are certainly superior. Like I said, you think games that end 3-3 or 4-2 are exciting and represent good football. It's not - the standard of defending the PL is arguably the worst across the major leagues. Serie A gets pelters but is still tactically and defensively advanced ahead of English teams.
