Well we are ALL going to have get used to not getting what we want because the chances of a majority for any single party look virtually zero. One thing is for sure as the Tories get more and more desperate their offers will become increasingly bizarre. By May 7th they will probably be offering every voter a million quid so we can all just live off the interest

Did anyone also hear Cameron has again come out saying how much of a "Christian Country" Britain is? Just reeks of him trying to get a few more christian votes on his side. Funny how his "religiousness" only seems to come up around election times!

With a recent YouGov poll showing 62% of Britain describe themselves as nonreligious, the evidence would suggest Cameron is a touch wide of the mark.

It needs changing the daft ****ers just want to run about killing one another simply because they believe in a different fairy tale. It just shows the sheer panic of the Tories now they realise that their campaign is totally wrecked ,praying is their best bet.

I certainly hope so. Also, I'm glad you have continued to ignore anything I write as I have stated pretty consistently that I am not a Labour follower. I have far more time for Labour than the Cons or UKIP, but I will probably not vote for them.

Pretty typical right wing behavior though. Ignore everything that doesn't conform to your view and only pick on the things that seem like an easy targets.

That was high brow electioneering compared last weekto when him and his up herself Mrs tried to make political capital out of their disabled child that died. That was the lowest of the low, and an act of a couple who must have the job at any price. Disgusting.

If it has been a Tory government even gammon face would have thought the faux austerity wasn't worth the price. It's only because he had Clegg the lap dog to share blame that we have seen policies that have left the country more divided between haves and have nots than even Thatcher tried to achieve. This austerity isn't economically driven its raw political ideology. Before anyone asks I consider myself one of the lucky ones as I have a reasonably well paid job, have never been unemployed or claimed a benefit apart from child allowance in my life.

The nasty party are more nasty than ever.

Some pretty weighty contributions there from our Foreign Correspondent JWM. he always seems to find just the right touch. I noticed the Cameron play on the heart strings over his disabled kid too,it's pathetic really, and getting the Mrs to join in with that little grief fest was quite low. But then the Tories do low quite well as witnessed last week.

Every day now the main parties are promising the Earth and it has become a pathetic bidding war. The truth is, this is a bloody good election to lose and whoever wins may very well regret it very soon.

If the Tories fail again it will be a whole generation gone by since their last victory. 1992 to 2020 is going to seem like an eternity when a week can be such a long time...

If Labour somehow scrape together a majority it's not difficult to imagine a split in the Conservatives taking one side toward Tea Party/UKIP territory whilst the other tries to reform itself into something more electorally significant in the centre.

The stakes couldn't be higher for Cameron. He almost broke the Union, he might not be so fortunate for his own party.

I don't think there will be any sort of majority.

I get a funny feeling it'll be a slim Lab/Lib/SNP coalition, which could be a bit odd.
