I'm not a "Tory" btw. Not really sure what that means these days. I'm just going to back the party that cleared the **** up from the last people to govern who almost bankrupted the country.
That's an interesting statement considering the mess was caused by a global crash of the world banking system which was saved from even further disaster by Gordon Brown! I don't think he's standing in this election!
People who believe the daily mail should be banned from voting. The **** in 2008 was caused by a WORLDWIDE banking crisis. Far from clearing it up the national debt has doubled since Camoron moved into number 10. All posh boy did was force through an ideology that is protecting the upper class and punishing everyone else.
No he isn't thank god. This way he cannot sell of the remaining gold we have when things go wrong again.
I don't read newspapers. And I have managed to employ much more people since the economy works again. Not quite sure how that's protecting the upper class?
Never said they weren't. I actually greatly dislike New Labour because of Tony Blair and the introduction of tution fees. It's another part of why I'm so reticent to vote for them .Seen as I was only in my early teens at the time, I didn't have much say on them being in power. It's your acceptance that this is part and parcel of politics that is disturbing. Rather than just telling me to grow up why don't you question why the 2 main parties seem to spend more time telling us how awful the other party is rather than talking about their own policies? Oh yeah, because then you'd actually have to think and make a decision rather than sticking with what you've stuck with your whole life. Why don't you grow up!
I love the irony of pro tories calling people who have left leaning tendencies (And I hate the whole name calling to be honest (Lefties/Tories), just another facet of politics that has been dumbed down) blinkered. It's like Christians in america always claiming they are oppressed because they are projecting their own prejudices on to the people/ideology they don't like. Blinkered is living in a 1st world country and having a nice house, watching awful TV and buying unnecessary commodities to make yourself feel better while ignoring all the suffering that happens in your own country and around the world.
You know what, I hate politics. Especially over a forum. I would like to have a pint with you guys I'm sure we would all get on and have our own opinions which we would all respect and relate to.
Perhaps you should, you might learn something about the real world and politics. Are you a stereo typical new employer, minimum wage, zero hours contracts and expecting the tax payer to prop up your company by paying your staff in work benefits? Not accusing, just asking.
No. Most of my staff earn £25k+ in thetford with car etc. We help out with loans for people wanting to buy homes. See we couldn't do that under labour as the business was taxes too much. We have also employed 5 more people since the coalition came in. Permanent contracts as well. It's easy to judge sometimes.
I didn't judge. Welldone you. Being an ethical employer not sure how you can be. So easily taken in by the Tories.
To be honest JWM I don't agree with everything you write but this is spot on. I also have to say that there are plenty of employers who are arseholes.
Something I seem to forget is that this is not a "Tory" government. Maybe I find this situation more palatable because it's a coalition. Food for thought for me.
