The thing is, they are 'not allowed to report an inflated sum to UEFA', but what would UEFA deem as an inflated sum? £120m will pretty much wipe out the loss that they posted last season, so if they can justify the amount UEFA will just let them ride away with it?

And isn't the Goon's deal meant to be £100m over 15 years, I think that was the figure that was banded about. So the £120m that Cit£h are talking about looks legit (from a UEFA ffp point of view).

From what I have read it's £120m over 10 years so that loss would only be £12m less.

What I would like to see is for any company sponsoring a club to be shown to be able to afford to do so. How can a company that doesn't make a profit afford £120 million?

Their sponsorships will all be viewed as inflated sums too, as they're all owned by the same people that own the club.

I wanted to but there is insufficient capability and functionality on this site as things stand.
We can add images everywhere but they are a nightmare to manage in the current folder system where we store images, so have elected to go off site and do something better (hopefully)
