Merc's strategy was more telling to me. Rosberg was being used to cover the Ferrari's.

Yep Nicos job today was to protect Lewis. If they say otherwise it's a lie. Nico is number 2. If you are looking for a challenge then look at Ferrari

maybe if Nico got pole and led a race once in a while he wouldn't have to play the bitch.

the fact he can never overtake Hamilton also does not help him.

    no.2 standard driver.

Anyone think Kimi could have caught Seb at the end?

Grosjean probably with the most solid yet anonymous drive I've ever (not) seen. Can't remember ever seeing him on screen.

Nico's "Lewis is too slow <wah>" radio message was hilarious. Anyone with serious world championship ambitions would have used the opportunity to attack, whether the team wanted it or not.

Does he still ask permission to go to the toilet? Man up Nico and take your title challenge into your own hands if you're serious about it.

Whatever happened to Ferrari's tyre superiority? :emoticon-0136-giggl Oh well, it will be very hot in Bahrain, maybe we'll get more of a race there.

Button was clumsy: shame, his tussle with Maldo was the only real excitement for me.

Rosberg is a number 2 driver.

On his day, he can beat the number 1 and be there if for any reason the number 1 fails, pick up the leftovers, but in a straight fight, 8/9 times out of 10 the number 1 comes out on top.

Basically, Ferrari have put the wind up them and Mercedes have decided not to race each other but put protect the number one from the threat = Roseberg is the rear gunner/covering Ferrari off.

Had to laugh at him telling the team he wanted less radio contact, must be a first for him, he's normally asking gaps, positions, strategies, the status update of his last ebay order etc etc...

Mercedes, as expected from Practice just had enough to cover Ferrari off though, the tyres held on well enough so that Ferrari couldn't really make their better usage into an advatage to offset the pure pace defecit

BUT.... they weren't quite as far away in what was a straight out fight as Mercedes would have expected i think, comfortable still though. Will vary from track to track, this was a perfect track for Mercedes and Ferrari just about kept hold of them.

Special mention to Ericsson and Verstappen. Very mature racing. Ricciardo was disappointing today, but theres only so much he could do in the ****box.

Manor only lapped twice. Not bad for a year old car

Rosberg's racecraft was always weak but since they've banned the team from telling him how to drive a car, he's worse still. On the other hand, Mercedes were clearly rattled by Malaysia and playing very safe; not good for the spectacle. At least in Bahrain we should find out whether it's heat plus humidity or just heat that does for their tyres.

The safety car was a bugger, I was hoping for a bit of Ferrari-on-Ferrari action to liven things up.

Havent watched it yet? Is it worth it?

Seen the result though and I'm pleased Hamilton got it.

Would have been nice if Vettel pipped snotberg to break things up a little.

Need Kimi to get involved too.

I'd say highlights would suffice :) Depends how keen you are but cleaning the toilet may be more fun.

    Cheers

I do need to iron some shirts for work so I'll try and fit the F1 around it <ok> <laugh>

    Top 4 was very predictable.

I find myself watching the F1 due to its history rather than its current and future prospects.

BTCC is where the real competitive racing is.

Rosberg really making himself sound ridiculous.
