Fair enough, it just sounded like you were trying to justify them, I withdraw my remark.

So more or less the same people will end up with 3 tee-shirts, what a great idea; a pity they could not get four, but one game of the grand tour has passed.

Come on lads, tell me I'm wrong about Mooney - he's a ****er, simple as that.

Aye, they were probably given away to some kid after the event. <whistle> Did they really impress you, TOM?

We haven't been told for definite but it looks to me with those games on the back (and the fact they were supposed to be put out at Swansea too) that these t-shirts might be making an appearance at the final few games.

    Sad really.

The further this ****e progresses the more folk, who cut him slack previously, are becoming totally pissed off with Allam. Then there are those who seem to want to stay on the fence, but maintain a dignified outrage at this nonsense.

How much longer before folk really start to say no and mean it.

Loads of people had them on when we got in, in fact I had no idea that they had been put out on the seats. There were none left anywhere and that maybe will be seen as a statement that some would rather have a free tee shirt than nothing at all.

Your remark at the end of your post is ****ish and you can get ****ed.

    Let's be clear then, TOM.

You don't like paying the going price and you aren't impressed with the concession prices; you think away supporter pricing per se needs addressing.

You think the tee-shirts, as an attempt to improve the away supporter experience, are an insult.

But, in response to others you thought it relevant to post that the shirts were popular at the game and that they were snapped up - yours included; this gave the a misleading impression, which you have now amended.

How do you believe these were an insult? Who did you make your feelings clear to at the game. (Well done for going, apologies for not attending <ok>)

Before you ask me what I am trying to achieve (again), I would simply like to be clear about how you (and some others) are reasoning your positions.; as this is going to develop, as it always was, and I am simply putting some stakes in the ground - there have been some interesting ones on the back-trail already. <cheers>

If you don't like '****ish' remarks you might consider not leading with them in the future - you know the ones I mean.

There are several aspects to this.
    Hull City's ASI fund.

The club should provide details of how the fund has been used this season, full stop. No excuse.

    Away fans ticket pricing.

I believe that no supporter should be charged more than £25 for a ticket purchased from the away club. Tickets bought on the day or by away supporters direct from the home club (Brighton was one I can remember) are different.

    Concessions

There is too wide a variation in how consession prices are set. But this raises an interesting question for me. Does the away club pay only one price for the ticket and have to absorbe the concessions?

    Tee shirts.

Fair enough, give away tee shirts, flags etc, but let everyone know what they are for, supporting the team or spending the fund.

What I have done about this and to who?

I have supported one of the FWG emails sent, by whom and to, is not going to be posted on here by me. At the match yesterday I was vocal in my feelings about the tee shirts. I believe that it is the FWG who should lead in this, they asked the question and they should be answered.

Fez, the tee shirts were popular, people had them on, so should that not be pointed out? As for me getting one, i wasn't disappointed in not getting one and your are right that if I had I would have given it away. The fact is that I might have got it on my head, but not over my mouth.

So come one Fez, tell me what are you actually trying to achieve with the way you respond to my posts?

HCST - Away Supporters’ Initiative – the latest

We’ve had a brief response from the Premier League to our letter drawing attention to the situation at City, which if you recall is our concern that the club has not used the ASI funding for the purpose intended – that is, to help away fans.

The PL have said that they are trying to meet with the club over the next couple of weeks to discuss this issue. We’ve politely pointed out that there’s very little opportunity left to spend any remaining funds, asked again about the guidelines clubs were given, and enquired if this is an issue with any other PL club. We suspect that the PL never anticipated that one of their members would try to deny their supporters the benefits of the funding.

The Football Supporters’ Federation have supported our stance:

“The FSF backs HCST’s action to establish how the club has spent the Away Supporters Initiative budget. Additionally, we urge the Premier League to address the problem, and hold clubs to account on this matter – particularly with a potential increase in the size of the Away Supporters Initiative in the coming seasons.” Read the full statement -
    http://www.fsf.org.uk/latest-news/view/hull-city-away-fans-money-premier-league

The gesture of a cheap complimentary t-shirt laid out on each of the Hull City fans’ seats at Southampton’s St. Mary’s stadium, so obviously deployed one week later than originally planned, in no way justifies the absence of a plausible explanation of precisely where the club has appropriated the £200,000 of ‘Away Supporter Initiative’ funding from the Premier League’s coffers.

We urge the club to come clean on how it has spent the ASI money. An official statement, including a detailed breakdown, is well overdue.

    From Tom

There are several aspects to this.

    Hull City's ASI fund.
The club should provide details of how the fund has been used this season, full stop. No excuse.
I think it would be good if they did, but I think it would be better if the PL clarified what is expected in terms of spend and accountability. It seems very quiet.
    Away fans ticket pricing.
I believe that no supporter should be charged more than £25 for a ticket purchased from the away club. Tickets bought on the day or by away supporters direct from the home club (Brighton was one I can remember) are different.
The away tickets are purchased from your own club, aren't they - unless you can pay on the day (as you say)? Perhaps the away club should subsidise their own fans - would some supporters consider our tickets a bargain? Aren't all tickets overpriced and the away argument is a false one?

    Concessions
There is too wide a variation in how consession prices are set. But this raises an interesting question for me. Does the away club pay only one price for the ticket and have to absorbe the concessions?
Ask Mooney, using your new position as an official.

    Tee shirts.
Fair enough, give away tee shirts, flags etc, but let everyone know what they are for, supporting the team or spending the fund.
They certainly look like they are supportive, so I don't that as being questionable. Are they from the AS I, who knows? If they are then they fail to achieve the aim and are money wasted.

What I have done about this and to who?
I have supported one of the FWG emails sent, by whom and to, is not going to be posted on here by me. At the match yesterday I was vocal in my feelings about the tee shirts. I believe that it is the FWG who should lead in this, they asked the question and they should be answered.
The PL should lead in this, as well as the FSF and HCST, as the official body are toothless and selectively mute. The FWG simply deserve an answer, as do we all.

Edit: just seen the response from OLM

Fez, the tee shirts were popular, people had them on, so should that not be pointed out? As for me getting one, i wasn't disappointed in not getting one and your are right that if I had I would have given it away. The fact is that I might have got it on my head, but not over my mouth.
People will have owt for nowt and James Mooney knows that. It was the way you pointed it out, it came across defensive of the action.

So come one Fez, tell me what are you actually trying to achieve with the way you respond to my posts?
Just asking you questions to see if I can understand why you now believe that it is necessary to attend matches to have a view on topics on here. That's a big and critical jump from where you once were.

So the PL did not respond to your questions and are palming you off with platitudes about meeting the club "sometimes in the next couple of weeks"? Seems a bit off that.
