Fandango, unfortunately your horse Carlito Brigante is a non runner. Sorry.

Yes, it was nice that my horse at least held the lead for a brief moment - good Irish stock, perhaps lacking the staying power!

I wasn't able to watch the race live as it was not televised over here.

16:20 Rebel Rebellion is now in front, just ahead of Rocky Creek and Shutthefrontdoor.

    Congrats to Kiwi!

Over to you Kiwi, you decide who you want the tickets to go to. There were a number of fallers at the first so not sure which you could call as first to go.

Thanks for coordinating this Finglas and also to the people who donated prizes.

The Aintree Grand National & Epsom Derby were family traditions as a kid with Dad making small wagers on our behalf. I recall when for a £1 wager my horse Morton won @ 25/1.

I am the same Kilburn. It is a family tradition to watch the race and we used to enjoy taking a couple of quid off my Dad if one of us were lucky enough to select the winner so I enjoyed organising it.

Never had much luck with the National, but in 1981 I backed each way Aldaniti, Spartan Missile and Royal Mail, they finished 1, 2 and 3 but would have paid over 1,200-1 on the tri-cast...

Perhaps Kiwi was really looking forward to wearing those shorts? Come on Rhino, air your dirty laundry?

Hopefully not like this - club sure mugged by him, or perhaps we were the mugs?

Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp 'mugged' in Madrid

Harry Redknapp said two men fell on their knees and began pulling at his trouser legs

He said two men fell to their knees in front of him and tugged at his trouser legs to distract him while four others took money and items from his pockets.
