Apparently, the owners 'need evidence before they'll review their policy on disabled pricing', having the worst policy in the Premier League it seems is not enough and will continue next season. It's such an insignificant amount of money, I can't understand why anyone would be such a **** over it, maybe they want us to hate them.
Err.....I think if you could agree with the thrust of what you're saying they'd be stealing from the club actually, unless you're suggesting the pass prices are based on that happening.? Highly unlikely. It's not something I've ever done, because I have an adult pass. I assume it's handy for some though who aren't "abusing" it, but occasionally change it when kids ( who are always doing stuff like playing sport) aren't able to go. However I'll be honest I was considering buying a child pass if we are expected to make a decision on renewing before we know the name of the club we're buying tickets for. That way if we remained City I could just upgrade the whole thing, and if we became Hull Tigers I would have been happy to have paid a child price to ensure there was an empty seat there all season !
Evidence of what exactly? This isn't anything other than another classic "no one tells me how to run my business" moment
We were told that anyone who wants a full refund after the name change situation is sorted will be granted one.
I'm sure it will still be possible to upgrade the odd game, it just won't be allowed on a regular basis.
It was at the last FWG meeting, but as all the other assurances at that meeting have been broken already, I wouldn't bank on it.
Frustratingly, and I realise it wouldn't address the whole issue, but the ASI fund could have been used for some initiatives for less able bodied fans. It would at least show they've been given some form of consideration.
Agreed and it has been done by other clubs, from memory I think Newcastle ran a free trip for disabled fans who could never normally get to an away game.
They really ought to do something about another scam I heard about the other day - get your pensioner aged relative to buy a cheap season ticket and use it yourself all season!
One option is to buy the cheapest pass possible and then to not use it. That way, it stops a Prem fan getting one, and leaves empty seats as a silent voice.
That is just throwing money down the drain. I do t think the owners will care one jot if people did that. I don t even think they would notice because they're so blinded by their own petty agenda
They'd notice the cumulative drop in income from the difference between a lot of child passes and full priced ones. It would also limit the chance of Prem fans skewing any name change vote. It would also limit the opportunity for day visitors, which would increase the price you could ask if you sold it for a game, and you could use that money to cover the cost.
