Made good money on a cash job today with my mate, money put away for me holidays coming up with my daughter. About to head down the pub for a few! Looking forward to the game tonight!

 

I'm going all Aussie in my drinking style today. Just opened my breakfast beer, Calrsberg Export at 5%, then i'll be moving on to Tyskie at 5.7% before finally moving onto Okocim at 7.1%.

I do believe that's in the spirit of Aussie drinking

Saw a documentary on Aussie drink. I think it's great the way you gradually build on strength through the day. In the UK we're very much stick to the same tipple all day

 

Aussie, I'm just curious mate but what's your story. How's an Aussie lad supporting Sunderland?

 

Grew up with rugby league mate but started getting into the premier league about 8-9 years ago.. I've always liked an underdog team and over here so much people will follow the top 4 sides well **** that.. First game I watched 2-1 away win against spurs under Roy Keene and loved it. The fans the jersey the atmosphere! I get people over here asking me why and I say why not bloody good club and I believe great fans. I think in a way Sunderland Chose me too mate, this forum is great for fans like me cause it's the closest connection I have with them until I finally get over their one day to watch my first game at the SOL. To anyone going to the game today don't take it for granted because theirs people from the other side of the world who'd love to be in your shoes!

Only just thought about this the other day which blew me away, I played one season of football. That was for the U9's Slacks Creek black panthers
