    This is the most unbiased piece of journalism I've read for years, Martin Hardy should be editor of the black and white chronicle and print facts instead of the usual fiction.

    I agree that the NOw is crap but there is a grain of truth in the article.

    For years you lot have been able to out spend us. Now with Short on our side and you lot stuck with MA we are in a position to out spend you.

    Now I know that spending does not win games itis what you do with the players you have signed. So I will wait until december before I claim that we are the top dogs but at the very least you have to agreethat the playing field is now at least level

    Black and White Chronicle at least they have Sunderland section of the paper, unlike the echo who only comments on Newcastle when we lose and never says anything positive about us. To think you lot call us deluded.

    The Chronicle is a Newcastle based paper, plus there are Newcastle fans based in Sunderland. Oh and I've seen the echo in the metro centre (Newcastle country).

    They are only big dates if you dont think you can do any thing else in the season. They used to be big dates for us but now less so. Hence proving the point about how the balance has changed.
