If they ultimately end up at other clubs but do still make it, why is that seen as a negative for Chelsea? They still trained them for several years. What does it matter if your first team contains players the club trained themselves? At some point the player has to have been sought out and signed from somewhere, whether it's as an 11 year old or as a 25 year old. Who do you give praise to for Sterling for example? Liverpool?
Harry Kane spent a year with our youngsters. So therefore why aren't you arguing about why Spurs can't develop their own and have to rely on packing youths from other clubs? He's the 'one of your own' who actually came through arsenal and Watford...
Because at least Kane ended up at Spurs! Chelsea give hope to these young players that one day they'll be Chelsea players, but they never will. They'll be sold to clubs a couple of levels below Chelsea, whilst Chelsea use the profit to buy the finished product.
So ultimately, your issue here is with youngsters being filled with false hope? That's it?! Who cares if Kane ended up at Spurs? What about Soldado? You filled him with hope that one day he'd be a Spurs player, but he never will now because you instead filled your striker position with an ex arsenal and Watford player.
The difference is we played Soldado and found he wasn't good enough. These young players that come through at Chelsea, plus the young players that they actually buy all go out on loan, develop some sort of reputation, and then get sold for a profit without even being given a chance. Look at KDB ffs. He's better than Oscar and Willian but Chelsea never used him and just sold him so they could buy Matic, another young player they discarded without playing.
Its pathetic. Why bother even having a youth team if you're not going to ever bring any of the players into the first team?
That's already been answered for you earlier... Money. So again, why does it bother you so much? Why do you find it pathetic? Is there any valid reason apart from the fact they're not spurs and therefore whatever they do is just wrong if it's not what Spurs do? For someone with supposed A*s in a-levels who was desperate to come across as clever yesterday, can not see how simple you're appearing?
Agreed for an A. Not so much an A* in physics or chemistry. That is hard and you don't get those just by hard work. That us assuming he does actually have one.
Maybe things have changed. I have an A (the highest grade at the time) at A-level in physics and i didn't even think it required hard work. Admittedly i doubt my balls could get it in actual real life.
Well perhaps these youth players aren't considered good enough either. I'm sure our scouts and coaches are watching them regularly in training and on loan and know more about what it takes than you or I. Not being funny, but it's also harder for youth players to break into our team then yours. That's the price of having an owner who demands instant success (an argument for another day). KDB was not better than Oscar or Willian, I can tell you that as fact having watched all 3 a lot. KDB had promise but didn't want to put in the work required to make it at Chelsea and with Jose. He'll have a good career as some clubs will be happy to have him as a luxury player. He wasn't good enough to be a luxury player at Chelsea. Look at how hard Hazard (a far superior player) works. Don't cry for KDB, we picked him up from a small club in Belgium and he has since become an established international, played in a world cup and got a decent move to the 2nd best team in Germany. Not too shabby. In fact it's better then any Spurs trained youngster has achieved of late.
Talking of balls, I went to the Albert Hall last week and looked everywhere for Hitler's. You'd have thought it would have been in the foyer or something....
KDB not better than Oscar and Willian? I'm sorry, you're deluded. KDB is far better than those two. Oscar especially, I swear you guys are playing with 10 men when he's on the pitch.
You know more than Jose then? Deluded is saying you have 9/11 players better than the team currently 4 places above you in the league and that you're only 1 player (Mata) away from being 'unstoppable'.
