So, the big one. The one that puts the noisy neighbours back in their box. The one which shows the tide and balance of power had not in fact shifted but had merely swayed ever so slightly off course before getting right back on its inexorable path as usual. The one that cements our top three and leaves them nervously looking down, as was ever thus. We hope. Interesting fact - everyone in Manchester supports City, bar none. Fact. Interesting fact No 2 - Manchester United are not and have never been anywhere near Manchester and, depending on which story you prefer to believe, are really a Salford or Trafford club and always have been. Fact. I would accept the likely 3 -1 right now.
Amazing thread once again Chief, so crammed with facts. It could be a true source of knowledge and peace to many people
As long as we win , he is on the bench coming on for the last 30 minutes. As soon as we draw or lose, he starts. Unless Young is having a real stinker and we win because of him DM coming on. PS: Talking about the bench. we will have Falcao, Di Maria, RVP, Januzaj, Shaw, Rojo or Smalling sitting on there. One of the better ones we've had for many years.
Just hope whoever wins beats Chavski and the Goons to the League. Can't stand if either of those crappy clubs wins the League.
Question is will Pelligrini be stupid enough to play 4-4-2 when it clearly isnt working. I'm guessing Milner will start to shore up that midfield. Key battles... I think we'll go as a 4-3-3 with Fellaini in there among Carrick and Herrera but with the freedom to go forward and put pressure on Kompany. Blind and Young up against Navas and Sagna. Rooney and Mata up against Dimichelis and Clichy. We need our CBs and the likes of Carrick to stifle Yaya and Aguero. Valencia up against Silva will be our weak spot imo. All in all for the first time in a while I'm looking at that and feeling somewhat confident about this fixture.
I think they get the point. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...rinho-Capital-One-Cup-Win-Feel-Like-Kid-Again
Hmmm, was expecting something a bit more definitive. We could always burn him and his family instead, problem solved.
