    Pretty daft article though. I mean, NUFC certainly have the cash after LFC lobbed £35M your way, so you don't need to be a genius to work out he's talking crap.

    Funny that NOTW nor any other news agency that was spewing out **** rumour after **** rumour never even spoke of Newcastle putting in a bid for CW...oh right, because even before Sunderland put in such an audacious bid, we weren't interested. Also funny that even though the whole article is about how splashing cash demonstrates who is allegedly the bigger club in the north east, he still takes a swipe at Newcastle shooting itself in the foot with expensive signings in the past. If you're going to be a hypocrite, don't be one within the same article.
