I think another quality striker is an absolute must, anyway. Like I say, I hope you're right about Kane. I remain to be 100% convinced.
His card has been marked for the past few months and he's triumphed more often than not, he's bagged goals against a mixture of sides, from top to bottom, including yourselves, Arsenal and Liverpool all the way down to QPR and Leicester. Of course next season will be harder but like many good players, they often find the ways to thrive and succeed, it's what separates good from great players and Kane has showed signs of being a great player. I wouldn't really compare him with Benteke or Lukaku though to be honest, I think he has a different skillset and mentality to the other two. Besides Benteke has suffered a lot of from injuries and this is Lukaku's 3rd full season in the Prem so it's not as if he's suffering from a second season syndrome, still has 8 league goals which isn't entirely dreadful.
I think Kane looks very good. Someone you can build a team around. Just try to keep hold of him for as long as you can
All fair points but there does just sometimes seem to be that difficulty with players in their second season. Maybe it's because strikers are starting from nil again on the goals tally, who knows. Personally I think you have a really good player there and he'll be fine. It'll be hard to keep him if he gets much better though.

This has all got a little out of hand, lol. Anyway, he's only played 1 cup final so that is hardly fair. He got the same number of goals as Hazard, Fabregas and 20+ other players combined in that cup final
Yeah of course, realistically Kane probably won't score a combined 29 goals (will likely be more considering there's still games left this season) in all competitions next season but if he can hit around the 20 goal mark which I think he's more than capable of, then that's great, providing there's substantial contribution from others that is - which up until recently there has been, with Eriksen and Chadli both on about 8 or 9 goals each in the league. Hopefully we can add some firepower in the summer anyway, we literally have one performing striker right now, would love a move for Charlie Austin but that's for another day. Keeping him is something I'd like to think we won't have to worry about for at least another couple of seasons, he's 21, supposedly a Spurs fan (despite the pics of him in a Arsenal kit as a kid) and has a lot of friends in the squad and area, I also think things are going too well for him right now to want to risk changing that, plus Levy won't sell to a Prem side unless a phenomenal bid is made and therefore leaves the only possible destination being abroad, which I can't see Harry pursuing anytime soon - the kid gets mocked for his English, let alone if he tries Spanish or German
haha tell me about it. We have bought tons of duffers for ridiculous prices over the years. The £80m we spent on Shevchenko and Torres alone!! Ooph Madonn! Both of those were Roman picks though, Jose certainly didnt want Sheva and I am sure Carlo didnt go for Torres either. Thats what happens when businessman think they know football.
Difference is, we had bottomless pits of cash so could spend frivolously. You don't have that luxury.
And Cuadrado? Do yourself a favour mate! Has only been a Chelsea player for 3 months and made a dozen appearances...far too early to judge anything
Yeah, because your plastic club is pumped with money from your **** sugar daddy. Can't wait for him to leave and you to get relegated to the conference.
Can't believe you sold class players like Mata and De Bruyne and kept **** like Cuadrado and Oscar. Joke club.
Thanks for trying to make me feel better when we sell Harry for £200m and spunk it all on Rebrovs and Rasiaks
