I've told him I'm gonna need to come and inspect his set up! Apparently the strains he's been testing don't get you high, they just target specific pain groups. I'm looking for a way in to have a franchise clinic over here, possibly using the MOD, early stages yet, but got to be ahead of the game.
Well long term my lady wants to go into micro botany, She needs lab experience for this. If there's any apprenticeships going will you let me know?
If it comes over here I'll be certain to mate, his clinic is in Toronto and his brother has one in Ottowa also.
Canada's part of the commonwealth, temporary working visa's aren't too hard to obtain and they're nowhere near as strict as the US. She's much more likely to get a job out there doing what she wants than here by the way, start off with a BUNAC scheme, even if it's only slightly related to what she wants to do, loads of my mates have done Canada.
Check out the Bunac website mate, especially if Labour don't win for ya! You either sit and accept what you've been told or you stick two fingers up at them and pave your own destiny. I've been a few times to Canada, as a country, I'd say it's far, far less obsessed with appearance than the UK, especially in the West, BC, Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Whistler etc. May be a place where your Mrs would feel more comfortable in psychologically, you know what I'm getting at. They also have a **** hot NHS!
Just been on it fella, But there's nowt anywhere near her field, anywhere near. I've bookmarked it though to see what else comes up. Cheers fella.
Not sure what the crack is if you already have a job offered in Canada, but bunac tend to target the more transient and the working holiday visas go like hot cakes. They are almost done issuing them this year, they do it in 3 rounds. 1st round went in 12 mins and the 2nd in 2 mins for 2,500 visas each. I'm assuming youd be more interested in the working holidays given the job situation, but then they often only let you take temporaryu work which may or may not be a problem. I'd recommend New Zealand, they pretty much let anyone in any time.
Oh yeah, we can achieve RELATIVE success, but we will never push top 4 and we will never have a real run at a trophy and the players have cottoned on to that. To be honest I wouldn't expect someone who doesn't see us week in week out to realise just how bad the situation is. Every Saturday we see our captain and leader running out the way of opposition players, jumping clear of burly centre forwards to let them through on goal, rather than putting his body on the line to stop a chance. We see Sissoko losing the ball at the top end of the field, and players running about half a stride away from him and him refusing to bother even sticking a leg out to attempt a tackle, let alone tracking back. Totally unacceptable for a centre midfielder. You see even our good players aren't grafting, don't have the heart, because they know at the end of the day, any extra effort they expend is only going to mean the difference between 9th or 14th so why bother? Just look at Krul, 30 seconds after going behind in the derby for the 5th time, he should be livid, furious. He was smiling. Unbelievable. As for the team selection, we really have little choice. We had 13 fit senior players, one centre half. We either put Janmaat in there or drag a kid in from the U21's. I'd agree Gutierrez should have been left back with Colback centre mid mind. You'll get no argument from me over Carver though, how we managed to find the one person more detestable than Pardew to take over from him is beyond me. We need a squad overhaul, Perez, Cabella, Colback and Janmaat to stay, the rest I couldn't care less about tbh. Then get in a competent, preferably foreign manager, and I'm sure we'd be able to sustain that "relative success" that you mentioned. Until that happens what we have now is what we're going to get imo I'm afraid.
Theres nothing in that that a number, a significant number, of other clubs couldn't make similar arguments. Is it not about time Newcaslte fans stop being complete pussies?
The good players are good enough though, it's all the fault of the guy who tells them what to do. It's no coincidence that yo uhave the worst manager in England and you are probably the worst team in the league on last 6 form. Looking for excuses for him is pointless, we had a decent squad last season, Moyes was just a ****ing egg. Sissoko doesn't go from being a beast to a gimp overnight, without considering the affects that the manager has had on him, look at Carver for **** sake, the guy would be lucky to get a job in a kebab shop. You do need a few players, but at the same time, you need to play your current players where they belong. Ashley's to blame as well of course, how he thought you'd manage with 3 centre halves, two of whom are absolutely ****, is beyond me. Not sure why you want an 'ideally foreign' manager mind, unless you have somebody in particular in mind, I don't get that statement. Edit: You DID push the top 4, right until about game 37 ish if I'm not mistaken.
The only reason I'm thinking foreign is because I just can't think of any English manager that's going to work well under the head coach restrictions. If there is one I'd be happy to hear it. Obviously, I'm not "excusing" Carver, he's the worst manager in the league and we will always massively under-achieve with him in charge. It was the same with Pardew, hence why I was incredibly vocal in wanting him out aswell, despite there being other problems at the club too. Our decent squad of players haven't become eggs overnight, over the last few years they have slowly become engrained into the entire philosophy of the club. Hence it's now 3 seasons in a row that we've just stopped playing halfway through the season when it looks as though we're safe from relegation. A good, ambitious manager could change that, I agree with you, but to really turn things around will require a squad overhaul imo because too many players have just slipped ino autopilot for good I think. Again, don't think I'm in any way defending or excusing Carver, he's a disgusting manager and human being and needs to go.
What do you mean when you say pussies? Do you mean refusing to accept survival as our only goal year in year out for the rest of our existence? Sorry but I'll leave that to the Sunderland fans, if that makes me a pussy then so be it.
Steve McClaren, he'd thrive in that coaching role, the only time he comes unstuck is when too much is required of him. He's a top, top coach and I think he'll actually be the man for you regardless of if you want him or not. Question for you though mate, if it was Shhhteve would you lot give him a hard time from the get-go? That's a mentality that's associated with your club, you seem to write managers off before they even turn up, often underwhelming but still, a fresh start's a fresh start and all that.
I've actually said on here before, my dream choice would be De Boer but within the realms of probability I'd take McClaren. I think he's a top coach. Not sure about giving him a hard time, I think our fanbase is pretty split on him to be honest. Boro are a pretty comparable club to us though and you can't write off his achievements there, comfortable league performances, European final and a major trophy. At this stage I think so many fans are resigned to us appointing Carver, I think he'd get a fair crack of the whip. The only concern with him is the "wally with the brolly" episode makes him an easy target for the mental section of our fanbase, the ones who plan to fly a "Mike Ashley out" plane over the stadium next Sunday Overall though I'd say he'd get a fair chance and I think he'd do well
Carver won't get the job, that's like handing your Rolex to a brickie and asking him to use his hammer to fix it. There's certain things that Mike Ashley is, but he's not stupid. Carver isn't fit to run a bath, never mind a multi-million pound asset on Ashley's books. The guy's gonna end up booted as far away from the club as possible and he's only got himself to blame.
