    my view:

this game is great for us.

    why?

it forces rodgers hand. Can sending off and skertl suspension means that we not cannot play 3 at the back without the worst 3 lumps in the universe

I am sorry but its time for the nucelar option now... yes glen johnson

here is what i would do tonight

    muckyminge (worst keeper on planet)
    Johnson Toure sahko Moreno
    Lucas
    Henderson Allen
    Coutinho
    Sterling Sturridge
my reaosn is that its time to get henderosn running about headlessly as he's just good at that. Get that front 3 pressing up and add henderson to it and that will cause them all sort sof issues

My worry is we will play lallana, lovern and lambert <laugh> he have a prefect pretext to make the change now as suspensions means rodgers has lucked out again.

If we play 3-4-3 like this I will call right now for rodgers head

    muckyminge
    Johnson/Lovern Toure sahko
    Henderson Lucas Allen Moreno
    Sterling Sturridge Coutinho
this would be a joke. a bad joke. I would be likcing my lips as blackburn to see this... or even better to see no sturridge and lallana in there.

winning the FA cup is amazing...

its a real prize and i wish we'd all stop devaluing winning things.

  4. I reckon we'll stick with three at the back and play Lovren.

How have we gone from "top four could be ours" to " hope we manage to beat Blackburn" in a few weeks.

I have not been so down about football for a long time, and believe me I have been around for a long time.

  9. What, at RB or RCB...? either way, probably better than Lovren or Johnson. Having said that, Toure had a complete stinker against Arseanl so I'd be tempted to bring Lovren in anyway. May go with Mankiller, Lovren and Sakho...?

I agree compared to threat of administration this is a bump in the road

We have reached a simple crossroads thinking what do we do next to get to top 4... who do we improve. thats is a lot less depressing than are we going down or are we going to still be in business.

We just want to improve, we get shedloads of cash to do it and we are questioning do we go on with rodgers or not..

these are the ultimate 1st world problems...

    think of blackpool!

manquillo's not been seen for a long time.

I wonder if he will be tried.

If i were rodgers i'd be thinking manquillo on right and johnson on left and just shutting this lot down and letting the front 4 do it... but i doubted it would occur.

    We will see soon enough.

back 3 = risky... henderosn out of position... criminal...

We might be lucky and ibe might play rwb i suppose.

    weill he drop allen?

    all questions.

    my best 3-4-3 would be

    mingolet
    lovern toure sahko
    ibe henderson lucas moreno
    sterling sturridge coutinho

    Can't see it happening though.

cue allen, henderson at rwb, lallana in for sturridge.

Think we really have to prioritise this. Our side desperately needs experience of big games and winning under pressure. One way to do this is the FA cup. One thing you could say for Rafa/Houllier sides is that we had 'seasoned' winners. That translates into the big league games.

If Ibe is back I'd put him in... Can't see us changing from the three either. Is Flanagan near ready?

    ---------------------Mig
    -----Johnson----Lovren----Sakho
    Ibe---------Hendo-----Allen--------Moreno
    ----------Sterling-------Coutinho
    -----------------Sturridge

If we can't play Lovren now when can we? And Johnson would probably be better than Kolo based on Sunday.

    can't say no to that!

I'd like to see that but can see case ofr toure against a lesser team like blackburn... johnson is a name i have to throw out for lb as well if manquillo ever gets a nod as moreno is scary at LB.

I could see this too.. it'd make far more sense if formation is rigidly adhered to.

however i can see that blackburn will be ready for this. I'd like to see us pose them some set up issues

    The thing is:

you could easily name that line up pre game and line up as a 4-2-3-1 for example

  19. Quite like that side but it seriously lacks leaders too <laugh>

Problem is, with Can, Gerrard and Skrtel missing, we can only rectify the lack of leadership by keeping Toure in the side.
