Won't be saying anything until we have (here's hoping) lifted the trophy. The threat is from Arsenal, but I have a good feeling. We have been a bit sketchy but I reckon its about time we hit up the gears for the run in. Confident but am still looking at that Emirates fixture.
You not seeing United as a threat at all V2?, we are on a decent run and have Arsenal and you to play (i don`t think anybody is a real threat unless you totally implode)
Agreed it is 100% on our hands. Still think City will finish 2nd. Whoever wins goons v you will be 3rd.
I think United are a threat but they have some really tricky fixtures coming up and would have to pretty much win all their remaining games to have a realistic chance. The top teams will probably all take points off each other, which will ultimately suit us.
No not at all at the moment. We outplayed you from start until injury time at Old T. If you close the gap at this weekend AND beat us at the Bridge then you may be a threat then
I agree, but still something pretty astronomical has to happen for us to lose near enough half of our remaining games.
That's fair. The next 2 fixtures will define whether United can challenge. They win them both, then yes. A couple of draws or worse, then no. With the fixtures we have coming up, I think a win this weekend could be crucial for us. Don't want any doubts creeping in before the big 2 fixtures.
This, Top team fixtures should and will help us. But unfortunately Leicester, QPR are trying to wriggle their way up & West Brom, Sunderland trying to go down will mean we have 4 very very tricky fixtures. Relegation fight is a worry for us now. I guess we would take more points from Manure, Goons, Palace & Pool than from QPR, Leicester, West Brom & Sunderland. 9pts + game is great cushion, but nothing is in bag yet.
Arsenal have hit form, you play them United have hit form you play them also, both in the next 3 games. if you lost both those games the pressure would be immense and put huge presure on the Liverpool game amongst others, it would be the flip of last year where you had no pressure and we had it all. Weird things can happen in those games leads as big have been blown before, I know most Chelsea fans would think it looks good but lets get the games won first but the OP.. careful now don't tempt faith
You think we'll lose boyh of those games? I don't fear anyone at home. Arsenal away is the toughest fixture without doubt.
No I don't think you will lose them, but when you go thinking it's all over bar the shouting, strange things can happen I was just pointing out that hubris at this state "may" come back to bite the OP on the rump
You are the expert, having blown it by march, City then blew it at Anfield with Kompany's slip and then we blew it at home v Chelsea. You see, who blew it is relative. This season we blew it by september
But I meant singing before the fat lady slips. Singing we are going to win the league and printing Prem winners t-shirts
