So what you are saying, is that Paul Ince is a better manager than Wenger? Because van Gaal is a better manager than Wenger. Not by much but van Gaal edges it. Pellegrini is nowhere near either though. Poor manager.
Who are you trying convince her exactly apart from yourself? Neither Wenger or Van Gaal are anywhere near elite managers
Look, I can't prevent you being thick. Nobody has the power to do that. Just know I am right and you are wrong.
Both are amongst the top managers in the world. Elite is subject to interpretation just like who is and who isnt world class.
I'm With the faces he pulls I don't think hes made of plastic. Playdoh with a glass skeleton seems closer to the mark.
Reading your comments on here really does show not only how much **** you spout, but how much of a massive ****er you are. I really hope you're not this much of a twat in real life else I don't know how anyone puts up with you. Pellegrini is not a poor manager. He is not as good as van Gaal or Wenger, but he won a domestic double last season and took City out of the Champions League group stages for two consecutive seasons. He also did a good job with Malaga getting them Champions League football and had a successful spell at Villarreal, despite them being a small club with very little financial power. As for van Gaal being better than Wenger certainly not in the last 15 years.
He's been widely considered one of Europe's top mangers for years. Won Domestic titles in Holland, Spain and Germany. Took holland to World Cup Semi final and Won the Champions League with Ajax. How many League titles did Paul Ince win as a manager? Its funny that your soo against giving our manager any praise whatsoever you will look for any way to discredit the things we are doing well. The fact remains.. Van Gaal and Pellegrini are TOP mangers working with bigger budgets than Wenger - yet he is out performing them.
This is nonsense. Earlier on in his managerial career yes, but what has he done in the last 15 years? He left Barcelona three points ahead of the relegation zone in his second spell there, won one league title in four years at Alkmaar, then went to Bayern - the biggest and most successful side in Germany - and won one league title there when they were a cut above the rest of the German sides. Does he deserve credit for this? Not much considering how one-sided the German league is. It's akin to Celtic winning the SPL, really. In the following season, he was sacked for failing to incentivise and motivate his side leaving them 3rd/4th in the Bundesliga; that is utterly embarrassing because Bayern have more power and wealth than any other German side by a country mile. He also got to the 2010 Champions League final in the most fortuitous of circumstances. When they got past Fiorentina, the decisive goal was miles offside, which went in Bayern's favour. In addition to this, Robben bailed (no pun intended) Bayern out of games, where they were lackadaisical, with moments of individual brilliance. Very similar to what Bale did at Tottenham in his last season. Bayern were also very lucky to not get knocked out by 10-man Manchester United in the quarter-finals. He then joined the Netherlands national team and when you look at how he did in 28 games, he won 17 of those but only lost twice. It's worth noting however that 9 of those 17 wins consisted of him getting wins against the likes of Andorra, Estonia, Romania, Turkey and Hungary in the 2014 WC qualification group; sides which, given the quality of the Netherlands team, they are superior to. Now he's at United and after having spent over £150m, he's only just started to get the balance of his team right. And even then, this was because injuries had forced his hand. So, to sum up, in the last 15 years: - nearly got Barcelona relegated in his second spell - won 1 league title in 4 years with Alkmaar - won a one-team race in the Bundesliga then bottled it the following season - reached a European final in the most flukiest way imaginable - did fairly well with the national team - only just started to find the right formula for his Man Utd side as a result of injuries He is a good manager - yes. But elite? No way.
Yeah clearly I said he was crap, when in my post I said: "He is a good manager - yes. But elite? No way." Instead of making stuff up, how about you read the post properly?
Sorry, i did notice that bit after i posted. The point i was trying to make was that elite clubs hired him for a reason, a good manager can be hired by a top club at any time but to be hired by so many top clubs you have to be among the very best.
He did very well at Ajax and his first spell at Barcelona was also very good, but I haven't been that impressed with his accomplishments in the last 15 years, apart from the run he had with the Dutch national side from 2012 to 2014. He's done a lot better than most managers out there, but when you look at his last 15 years in management and put it all into context, it's not impressive enough for me to think that he's an elite manager, in my opinion.
